IRS wants me to call them because they are filing a case against me.  LOL

I am getting spam calls from robo people saying IRS is filing tax lawsuits against me.
I pay me taxes and I do not owe any!

Call came from a different number asking me to call. Claims to be from IRS. I pay my taxes. ..don't owe anything. Crazy.  Robo call.

I got an automated call telling me the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. Recording told me to call 210-807-4287.

This 210 807 4287 call back number is getting a lot of milage. Used to come up as ATT SVS CEN
and the stupid Indians supposedly calling  from Microsoft would use this number also.

Started out on caller ID as 728-599-6554.  Hearing message their number is 210-807-4287.  Wtf

    I have received the same phone call. But I called it back to play the game, they try to act like they are the IRS giving you a officer name and #. I laughed and called a sorry piece of sh#*, and other choice words. I now call them back every 20 min and get the same ass!#*e and screw with him. lmao

I received a message from the number 210-807-4287 saying the IRS was filing a law suit against me.  I called the IRS and they immediately told me it was a scam.  You can report this to the IRS at www.tigta.org or call 800-366-4484.  Let's catch these guys!!!

call saying IRS filing a lawsuit againt me said to call back 210-807-4287. This is fraud and harrassment. I beleive they called from 319-581-0000 at 6:30 AM.

The calls are coming from India or Pakistan.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

I just got a call... It's is filing suit against me... I called back and no answer... I'm reporting this number to I R S..... Do they think people believe them... I wanted to tell them I was reporting them to I. R S...

Morning message received:  They have been trying to reach me "at least once only today" that the IRS has filed a law suit against me, how sweet this is, how about a citizens class action suit against the IRS for illegal taxation.

The IRS does NOT have an office that calls you from India and uses Magic Jack.  The real IRS mails letters if there is a problem.

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.

I’m an Enrolled Agent with the IRS (Inactive). IRS does not initiate contacts by phone.  US mail only.   IRS does not file lawsuits.   Court action, if any is handled by the DOJ and all parties are entitled to legal assistance if it is a criminal matter.  But--tax disputes are for the most part civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes.  IRS has no powers of arrest.    If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of  money.  IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone.   IRS does not accept Green card money paks for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.    All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.
