Possible scam claiming that there is a court action / restraining order pending against me.  Alleges that a payday loan was taken out under my name and I owe $.

President's new gov't agency is supposed to aggressively go after these scammers.

Notify your banking institutions.
Contact the three major credit bureaus and request an alert be put on your file.
Contact your local law enforcement agencies if you feel you are in immediate danger.
File a complaint at www.IC3.gov.

Never give your Social Security number—or personal information of any kind—over the telephone or online unless you initiate the contact.
Be suspicious of any e-mail with urgent requests for personal financial information. The e-mail may include upsetting or exciting but false statements to get you to react immediately.

Ensure that your browser is up-to-date and security patches have been applied.

So I get this voicemail today (1/10/12) from a "restricted" incoming call. I didn't answer it....
Sounds fishy to me!

This is special investor Kristy Little and I am contacting you in regards to a legal complaint that is being filed against you.  Claim and affidavit number ZCSK-2606 where you have been named a respondent in a court action and must appear. There is a contact number on file that you must call.  210-892-1308. Please forward this information to your attorney and that the order to show cause contains a restraining order.
You or your attorney will have 24-48 hours to oppose to this matter the claim and affidavit once again and that you also need to write down is ZCSK-2606.

Calls my brother saying a law suit filled against me for payday loan a year ago. I do not have one..  I don't know why they call my brother

I received the same phone call and my father did too. Its all a scam, they cant tell you anything that would make sense. Just that you owe money from a payday loan and they want money or your going to court or jail. Its dumb, same thing happened a few months ago.

This company, Central Asset Bureau (210) 892-1308, left a message on my answering machine that they were trying to locate my son.  The call came from Michelle Lacy, a Special Investigator.  When I called her back to tell her my son no longer lived with me, a Mr. Peterson said that my son had gotten a PayDay loan from Cash Advance USA back in January 2011.  My son did not get this loan, and my son went on to notify his banking institution, as well as TransUnion, who said that they would notify Experian and Equifax within 24 hours about this fraudulent company.  It is a SCAM!

A woman Tracy Ferrell called, said she was a special investigator for Central Access Bureau.
That I needed to have my attorney call her within 24 hours to oppose this complaint. Also that a restraining order would be filed???

A special agent called left id # DR-MH2136 or some sort stating that I had a restraining order pending and need to call 201-892-1308 and forward the info to my attny and we have 24-48 hours.

Guy was VERY rude when he said that he was looking for me and I got VERY rude back. I said depends on "WHO THE F*CK YOU ARE," he said that he was Special Invest. Owens and that he was calling to tell me that some one was taking me to court and also putting a r.o. on me...I then asked him and he said I cant tell you because I am not in my office, but I will give you a number to call and a case # they will tell you everything ( that they did, Including my ssn dob employment family members names and numbers even my bank account information), So I started questioning where they got all my information and they told me that it does not matter and that they dont have to tell me anything like that. The guys started to get VERY rude again and told me to have a nice day in court and hung up after saying that he would send me a summons. So I called back....said I wanted to talk to a F***ing supervisor and the guy on the line ( different name this time) said this is one and asked me for the case number...I gave it to him NOT KNOWING ANY BETTER....and he got rude too after I started asking questions so I got pissed and told him to have a NOCE F***ING DAY A**HOLE and hung up

This is B-S*IT they need to loose my number...I am on the DNC national list so I will be reporting them in the morning also summitting this to the FBI link at www.IC3.gov  it is on the fbi's website under extortion scams...

How they get my cell and home number?

I got three calls today stating that there was a legal action filed against me and I needed to call the 210 number to discuse the supina.  Nothing made since seeing we were in good satanding with JC Pennys.
Which they said the had buoght the delincent account.  When I asked more questions nothing fit together
My date of birth wrong Address have not lived in that area for 18 years. Total Scam

same message left on my phone

Yesterday (1/24/2012), a message was left on my home answering machine.  When I called, they identified themselves as the Central Asset Bureau (210-892-1308).  The wanted $ for an old credit card debt or I would be taken to Court.  They verified my name, first 5-digits of my SS#, and DOB.  But, they could only provide the first 4-digits of the credit card number.

They claimed they were hired by a collection agency that was hired by HSBC Orchard Bank.  Apparently, the collection agency "could not find me", so had to hire them.  Odd since my address and phone number have been the same for almost a decade!  They said they would send the Court documents for my Court date.

I called HSBC directly and they have no record of the credit card debt.

I returned the call and agent Hall said that investigator Little was not in and he was in charge of the case at this time. Case # ZXVB - 2201

Today January 30,2012, I got a phone call from a lady on my voice maile .She left a number 210 8921308.She said I had to call her back with or with out my attorney with in the next 48-24 hours. The company name was Central Asset. This is the third time I'm getting a harrassing phone call.

The first time  I was contacted,I actually called the guy back and he said  I owed money on a payday loan that I applied for over the internet in January 2011.I told him that I never received any money.He wanted my ss number which  I didnt give him the exact number. Then the guy said that I owed money on processing fees. I told him that I never received any loan money deposited into my account. The Internet loan company never stated anything about processing/or application fees.

The second caller was from a woman. Ididnt even return her phone call.

One thing about these people,they always keep changing case numbers on a person.With this last call that  I got today, my case number is RPJI2980 which was a different case number  from my 2 prior phone calls.Also their company name keeps changing.This time it was from Central Asset.That is a different name from my prior 2 phone calls from them.

This has been a wake up call for me.
Iwill never apply for any internet loan again.Also Iam very careful as to who has any personal information on me.

On 01-30-12 a message from a Lula McKenzie special investigator left on my home phone, cell phone, and office coordinates voice mail, along calling my sister in New Hampshire. It was stated that I must forward this message to my attorney of record and appear in court. Please call the following number 210-892-1308 and claim number RDJI1108 with restraining orders and I have 24-48 hours.

I did forward this onto my credit counselor who looked the claim number on the Pennsylvania Judiciary Court System which brought no information. I am disgusted with these calls knowing full well I'm working to get my debts paid. I will never apply for online payday advance again. I say beware to all.

PS I was also informed no debt collection agency is allowed to legally contact a person by phone or e-mail without sending legal documentation by mail and notifying what account or agency they are representing.
