im also receiving missed calls from this number and the recent was on 03-27-2008 at 1:17am, im also from the Philippines and using Globe! what is this number all about? is it too dangerous?

IT COULD BE A NUMBER FROM A VOIP USED BY WHOEVER IS CALLING U... COULD BE A TELEMARKETING CALL OR WHAT NOT.... THIS WONT HARM UR UNIT OR WHATEVER BUT IF U GET TO SPEAK WITH A PERSON AND THEY ASK FOR INFO LIKE UR SSN OR WHATEVER, JUST HANG UP...IT COULD BE A PHISHING SCAM. IM FROM THE PHILS AND USE THE NET TO MAKE PHONE CALLS AROUND THE WORLD. IT COULD EITHER BE SKYPE OR SOME OTHER TYPE OF VOIP....

im from philippines and im using globelines, i also got 2 wierd missed call over this number 0012109591050 when i tried to answered it nobody's on the other line, but after few second my phone ring again with different number well its cousin from switzerland telling me that he got cut off two times. i dont think their number are related but i think its a default number that shows up whenever there is an error on overseas calls or should i say that error caused by a hacker. -that could be possible right?!

i do also received a phone call from this number its already twice he called me, it started last january 2008 and then rightnow. His a**hole, i don't even know him/her.

I also received a call from this number last April 14, 2008, when i answered it, no one spoke.  I got another call from this number on April 16  at 12:30pm Philippine time.  She knows my name and she said bad words in filipino language.  I am also using Globe.

After reading this info a few months ago, I registered the number on my phone so when it rings again, I wouldn't have to answer it. The number had called me maybe 3 - 4 times within this 4 months and I never answered it thinking it was just a prank caller or a scam. Which I actually posted here last January 2008. Last night my boyfriend who's in Indonesia called with his local number which is saved on my phone. I couldn't hear him on the other end and so I dropped his call. A few seconds later, 0012109591050 rang on my phone and I wondered if it would have been somehow connected with my boyfriend's call and so I picked it up. It was him on the other line and I think some of the posts here are right. It's a default number / operator that international callers use when calling. However, for those who are receiving REAL prank calls, the person at the end of the line is probably one. They are just using the same VOIP sytem. It doesn't mean it's 1 person calling us all.

I saw this number in my phone bill but I did not make a call to this number.  What is this number? Who owns it?

I have received four calls from this number.  I tried calling but its either ringing or being cut. Its weird though. Im a GLOBE SUBSCRIBER. Can this be a wake up call for GLOBE management to make their own investigation on the matter for its causing inconvenience to the subscriber.

My boyfriend has called me in my mobile from his house phone in england, but i just wondering why the numbered appeared in my mobile was 0012109591050 and the date & time appeared was 4/28/2008 at 8:25am; but the actual time that my boyfriend has called me was 3:38pm, his time..So, how come it was happened and who manipulate this things? I want to make things clear about this matter. Thank you so much for your prompt action!

hi i'm leven, i got a call from the same number above--002109591050, no one answered the call. i guess, it may be true that the reason why we are receiving calls from the same number is because its a default number.. you see. most of us are using globe. probably its works just like an 800#,or it might be a  number assigned by globe to recognize the number as international. but most likely the call is an international call. isn't sometimes 000 is a default when we receive calls from other countries.

hi ..im from the philippines...i also got a call from +2109591050 last week.  Then another 3 calls very early this morning (May5-23-2008) at a around 1:30 am. I missed the 1st call, I answered the 2nd call but it was cut after 4 seconds. Then for some reasons I didnt answer the 3rd call.

Who must this be?

i am a smart subscriber..maybe smart telecommunications (and at the same time globe telecoms) can do something about this...thanks
