I received a call from this number indicating I was going to be arrested on 3 felony charges for things that occurred in 2012. When I asked for more information, I was placed on hold so they could find my file. They then offered an attorney and I told them my attorney would be calling. They hung up.

    very concerned
I was told I took out a payday loan back in 2012 and there is 2 felony warrants out for my arrest. The guy also gave me the name legal litigation and his name was Charles @ ext426 but could not tell me a date or a company name. This guy wanted me to pay 1500 dollars now or the warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. I told him I would contact an attorney regarding the situation and he told me I have until 4:30 PM today. I would like to know who is releasing everyone's information.

    This is a scam
If you took out a payday loan or even applied for one, those companies are selling your info to these scammers who are trying to scare you into paying them. If you notice they have no information about the actual loan, all they know is that you either had one or applied for one. DON'T ever give them any information. Note that they do not call you if an arrrest warrant is issued for you in any state. These scare tactics are illegal, so please report the # to the BBB.

I also received a call from this number stating all the same details. Only problem is they did not have an accurate bank account number. They stated that it was from the National Bank that runs the payday loan companies. I never took a payday loan but did apply for one. I am relieved to hear that others are receiving the same calls because I thought I was stuck for sure. This was one of the most stressful calls that I have ever received. I can breath easier now. Thank you all for reporting this so rapidly.

If you've filled out any on-line application for anything, the data is sold to information brokers who resell it to Indian scammers.

    Call blocker might help.

My boyfriend just got the same calls. Total fraud. They told him to pay $1,601 or they would proceed with arrest warrants. We reported them to the FTC. Don't worry, you are not in any kind of trouble. Have a good day. :)

    Complete BS
I just had a message from this number.  First of all they can not threaten arrest, you need to report them to the attorney generals office.  Mine said it was pre-trial.  You can not be arrested for a payday loan.  Look it up. Also look up the Fair Debt Collections Act and tell them they are in violation of it.  They always say they are an investigator.

I just got the same call. They could not tell me how much, but the guy said he was the superviser and he will finalized the papel work for police to come and get me over a cash loan from 2012. I ask with who? he said with cash central???? But not amount at all. Then I said ok I will call this cash central business, because I never took any loan with them, so is no way I have a debt with them. He told me not to call them because will made matters more difficult to solve. And that he need it to go because he has a case of $6000,00 dollar to prepare for.

How these people are getting personal information from people?

I ask who there were, he respond: we are a company call Litigation. Then I asked were are you located? He said : In Texas? Then I asked how you got my name? He respond that my case was in court already for 2 years??? And that they just will come to pick me up.

The whole thing is crazy, this have to stop.

Same thing as others... Some company called Litigation. FYI people... You can not be arrested for debts in the US. It is illegal for them to even say that. Even if you owe money all they can do is sue you and they have to do that in the State u live in. For instance in my state... Laws say they can't even garnish wages for this sort if debt. So don't worry about it... These are bottom feeders who either purchased a debt from someone or a complete scam.
