Just got a call from this number today. Didn't answer, didn't call back. Based on your comment date Ellen, sounds like a new number in the scam system starting to make its way around.

It's a scam to say you won a 100$ walmart gift card but they want your card to process the shipping fee

they said I missed a question on a survey (I never took) about the satisfaction of my cell phone for $100 gift card.  I said I never took a survey and they proceeded to say no problem and wouldn't let me talk.  I would never give any personal info, and just hung up.  Obvious scam.

This is a RetailerRebate.com scam.  I fell for it the first time.  They said I had taken a survey and had won $100 gift card from Wal-mart, Lowe's, etc.  All I had to do was give them my credit card number and pay $3.95 for processing fee.  I had asked the girl if there were any stipulations on the Visa gift card or whether I could spend it as I please.  She said nothing about the fact that you have to spend over $100 (excl. taxes) at one store such as Wal-Mart each month and send in receipt.  They would then mail you the $25/each month that would total $100.  I can even accept this.  BUT, your purchase does not include groceries, tobacco, alcohol,  prescriptions, phone minutes, electronic goods, or gas.  Well, Good Lord, what else is there to buy?  Although it's $3.95, this company certainly doesn't tell the full truth, and indeed, is a scam.  Don't fall for it.

Same thing happened with me. They wanted my full name, address and birthdate. It was a mix between an answering machine and some foreign speakers. Sounded sketchy.

They called to my work number and said that I forgot to answer one question on a survey.  I never completed a survey and the woman had a foreign accent.  She then asked me how satisfied I was with my smart phone service.  At first, I thought she was a recording because she sounded like a robot and kept talking when I was trying to tell her she called a hospital. I finally got her attention when I told her she was calling a hospital and she could not tie up important phone lines with spam phone calls.  I asked to speak to her supervisor. Of course, she put me on hold and the hung up the phone.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION.  IT'S A SCAM!!!

A $100.00 gift card because I forgot to answer a final question was very suspectious.  However, I kept her thinking I did not hear every thing she was asking.  I don't know if she is part of the scheme or how she is paid.  I hope she is paid by the hour and not by success numbers,  she was very patient and nice but then she put me through to a supervisor after I answered the scale of one to five of my satisfaction level on what ever survey wasn't complete.  I hung up!

MSQO showed up on my caller ID and also the number: 210-996-2009.  I was curious and put the number in my iPad, hit return and got this site.  It's a great info site, thanks for keeping track and offering a reply format.

Im all so sick and tired fed up with still keep on getting all these to many more all scam callers can't stand them they need to stop calling me i'm so sick of'em all enough is enough of all these annoying scam callers
