Said my computer was infected, he was from IT office. Couldn't understand him so hung up!!!

Same here. It happened last night and also two nights ago.  Very strong accent but the exact same words. I hung up also.

Got the call today at home said he was IT from Windows operating system and wanted me to go on my computer so he could help me get rid of error messages-right I hung up also, never heard of Windows calling everyone to help them with unknown error messages.

I received a call from a lady with a very strong (Caribbean?/African?) accent telling me that every time my computer was on the Internet - it's software and hardware was under attack.  I interrupted her long enough to tell her that I was on the Do Not Call Registry but she continued with the sales spiel as I told her that I knew it was a scam call and was going to report the number.  I don't think she was listening at all because she didn't stop talking until I yelled into the phone "SHUT UP DAMMIT!" and then there was complete silence as I repeated that the call would be reported to the FTC.  I haven't received any more calls from them.

Called and asked to speak to "person who operates the computer". Thick hesitant accent. Hung up.

Like others here, received a call from (212) 077-4568. Guy with accent trying to speak proper English tried to tell me he was from the DC IT department and wanted to know if I was the person who operates the computer in my home. I already had previous experience with these calls and reported them months ago. I simply told the guy I am not stupid enough to fall for his scam and to stop calling. He went on to say "no, mam, no, mam". So, I just hung up on him. I really hope no one falls for this crap.

It's a scam.
I told him I didn't own a computer.

Received the same type of call as stated below.  Heavy Indian accent, tried to get info about my computer.  When I started asking questions about who he was with he got aggitated and hung up.

He said" it was  "Harold"   With a strong accent!     I used a accent back!  He told me it was about my computer.   And I told him,  I would call the polizi, or FbI,  if he calls me again!   That he is a scum ( Scam)!     The creep hung up on me.    I have received phone calls from him before!

He call Dec.11, stated he could help get rid of the error messages on the computer, and that people have access to our internet In our homes every day and we don't know about it.  When I asked to speak with someone else because I couldn't understand him...He told me to "kiss my ass" and "go f*ck yourself" and then hung up!   What a creep!

keep receiving this call and won't nobody say anything and when they do i can't understand them

Received a very arrogant call from 212 077 4568. The person had an accent. He was very rude when I asked him not to call my telephone number again. He laughed and said that he would continue to call night and day and I could not stop him.

I got the same call. I knew something was up as soon as he said he was from the IT office. I couldn't understand a lot of what he said. He told me to click on the start bar and then press 'r'. I didn't do it and hung up on him. He called back twice. The first time he called back it said number unknown on my caller ID. I didn't answer and it went to voicemail and he said "what the hell". LOL The second time he called back my caller ID showed Private Number. I didn't answer again and he hung up when it went to my voicemail. I don't know what happens when you click the start bar and then press 'r', but I wouldn't try it. Definitely a scam!

Call received from 212-077-4568   hung up after I asked questions of him.  Same story about computer viruses that needed to be fixed.

Received a call from 1-212-077-4568.  Man with heavy accent, probably Indian or Pakistani, identifying himself as working in the "IT department."  Said he would correct all the error messages I had been receiving on my computer.  I asked him what kind of a computer he thought I had.  He said a Windows computer.  I do not have a Windows computer, I responded.  He said "okay, bye bye."

This # called today @ 2:50pm.  Caller ID said Name Unavailable.  Did not answer and no message.

Same thing happened here about ten minutes ago. I'm keeping records of calls, and I 'm going to file report with investigator with local police department. I just got off the phone with the investigator. I'm tired of the phone calls. If calls continue, I can also file harassment communications.

Received the call a few minutes ago, Caller ID says NEW YORK with the phone number as specified. I answered and, when I didn't hear anything, I hung up. I've now added the phone number to my call blocker so, I hope they try it again. Phone will light up but, that's all that'll happen going forward.

I received this call for the first time today.  The male had a very thick accent that I could barely understand.  Said he was from the IT dept. and that I had error messages on a Windows computer and that he could fix them for me.  I cut him off at this point and  I told him I had no idea why he was calling me and he repeated the same thing he had first said to me, almost like he was reading from a script.  After 3 attempts at trying to get the person to identify himself, I finally told him I was not continuing the call and hung  up on him.
