Number called the office asking for the owner of the company by name. When I told him he had the wrong first name he just hung up on me...

I receive calls from a guy at this number several times a month asking for the President of the company.  I'm required to ask the name & company of everyone that calls & the guy who calls promptly hangs up once I do.

I just wish people didn't waste my time!  Stop calling me!

Call and asked for someone who was not in. I told him so he just hang up then.

Called and ask for the owner, very rude and whe I ask for more details and purpose of the call he hang up.

Used the the standard "He's out of the office. May I take a message." and received the hang up.

Asked for company CEO by name...when I said "He's not in the office, may I take a message for him?" he hung up on me...

Who are these people's PARENTS!!!!! LOL...seriously...only in America folks:)  And who knows...maybe he wasn't even calling from America!!! You never know these days!

The same thing happens to me... There is no way that ANYONE who calls and asks for the owner here will just get a free pass to talk to him. You think that they'd figure that out so they'd be able to talk to SOMEONE. How can you run a business, or even a scam, if you hang up and refuse to even introduce yourself?

Asked for CEO by name, then hung up.  Tried to call the number back, call cannot be completed as dialed.  Arrrghhh!

Same story, asked for President by name. Slammed phone down and hung up before I was done speaking.

I can't imagine a person like this would be successful in business.  I got the very same treatment as everyone above mentioned. At least now I know what number NOT to answer...

NAME NOT FOUND appears on my phone along with this phone number.  He asked for the President of our company.  When I told the caller he was not available and offered to take a message, he hung up on me. I don't know why I'm surprised; I didn't like his tone of voice.   I AM JUST SO SICK OF PEOPLE HANGING UP ON ME that I've started filling out these reports.   Of course, when I tried to call his phone number "your call cannot be completed" is what I heard.   I dialed 9 then the number and also 9  1 then the number.   This did not make a difference.  I called Directory Assistance.   This did not help.  I guess that's why these people are so rude.  They know you can't call them back to complain.  HE IS ON MY LIST.  I'm also telling co-workers about this number and saying they should not even bother to answer it.

I'm waiting for the person who called me from this number to call again so I can just pick up and hang up on him! :-) Ignorant!

I agree with jmp.  Sick of these calls.  Polite to them but they hang up on us.  Should be some way to block this number.

I know what company this is that makes all of these calls.  Its John Thomas Financial.  I have told them many, many times to stop calling and they keep pestering us.

This person calls me all the time.  I repeatedly ask him to stop calling, he denies that he has been calling, but I know his voice by now.  Every time I ask for information, he hangs up.  Today I called the number on the CID back several times to give him a piece of my mind, but every time is is busy!

This person/company calls our company once or twice per week. Every time, we tell them the CEO is not available and can we take a message and they promptly hang up. If you try to call the number back, it gives the cannot be reached as dialed message. Very unprofessional behavior and will someday lead to legal action.

Put the caller on HOLD!  Pretend that they're going to get to talk to whomever they ask for and put them on never ending HOLD!  Waste their time just like they're wasting yours.  Of course this will only work if you know this is a the type of call you don't want or you have caller ID and can pretty much weed out those types of callers.  But I am so sick of people calling and when you tell them the person they want to talk to is not in they hang up on you before you get out the part about taking a message for them.  People are so rude.  Really, do they think by being rude they will ever get through to the person they want to talk to?  Not on my watch!  They will just hold until they hang up.

Same here...Just recieved the call and he asked for my President of my company.  When i relayed he is on vacation this week, would u like..........click, he hung up before i could even get it out.  And rude, I didnt even like his voice!
