I received a call from a 313 caller.. A person with a thick Lithuanian accent confirmed who I was, my address. Then told me that since I filled out a Democratic survey, they were calling me. I had been selected to receive a grant from my United States of America government. The amount of the grant was $7,000.00 which I would never have to repay. I was given the phone number to call immediately  after this call terminated. I did not call that number. I figured if the government was giving me money I would get a letter.  Basically I just figured it was a scam because I felt uneasy.

They just called me to and said put 290 dollars on a green dot card and they would transfer me the money

Same thing happened to me. Confirmed my name and address and said I had options in getting my money, one would be cash other would be to deposit into my account. I said I didn't want anything deposited and chose cash. He said to call and speak to his manager (Marvin). As soon as I hung up and called Marvin at the 212 number it rang a couple of times then just disconnected. I am left wondering what they wanted with confirming my name and address?!???

Wow,the 212 called m new my name and address, same thing about money, then got mad because I was asking questions and hung up. [***] scamer

Number 212-203-0428 called me I know it was a scam don't want then to call any more

This is a big scam I asked that Jughead why he couldn't give me the Western Union authorization number like you do when you use Western Union I made him really mad and he said f you seems to me to be a little unprofessional

It is a scam , I got the same phone call , called the government to report it but
it is obvious the government does not care because they have been informed
about this number in February and I got a call today May 9th 2014, they have
not done any thing about it.
