I received a call from a number with caller ID blocked. The gentleman, with a heavy accent, told me I had been selected for a government grant of $6500. He told me to call 212-203-0514 and to quote a Reference number - A595 and talk to his "Superior" who would help me get my grant. This, of course, is a scam as the government does not call people to tell them they have a guaranteed grant. Please add this number to the Scam list.

Just got the same call concerning 6500 in grant money and to call that same number. Truly a scam

I got a call and was told I had been chosen for a grant from the US Government Grant Department. The name of the caller was Michael and he has a foreign accent and said that the grant was an appreciation grant for not having any issues with the government such as being arrested and such. I was suppose to call this number call from the number 212-203-0514  and talk to his "Superior" and they would walk me through the process to get the grant. The ref # I was given was A163.

I just received a private number. It was a woman with a very heavy accent. I was told I was given a grant for $6500. I was to call 212-203-0514 and use Ref #A109. I called back and got an answering machine saying that the person I was trying to contact was unavailable. Does anyone know what these people are trying to do? I know it's a scam but what is their end game?

What a scam, I was too given reference # A163...Michael Adams,  yeah right....they ask for prepaid cards first 2 dollars then 200 Refundable supposedly.

Scam for sure I received the same call from someone who is not able to speak English very well or clear for that matter. Was told to call 212-203-0514 and mention ref #A163 when I asked questions I was hung up on and when I called back the second time there was no answer which I guess  is a good thing because she was going to get an ear full from me. I pray they don't get to someone who does not know better.

I just received this call!! Was given a reference number. So I called, it has to be a scam. Nothing this good could possibly be true. Must have a green dot card... Why? No sense.

I got a call from 2122030514 and a man and women told me that I won a grant for 6500 and they told me to get a green dot card so I did like a dummy. I send them 200.00  and then they told me I have to send 310.00 for my creidt score it's a scam I lost 200.00 and never got my grant. Stay away from scam everyone

I just got a call from a heavy accent woman saying the same thing about a government grant.She gave the same reference# as Bobby A595 I think it's sad how some people can prey on innocent people who may be in dire need of financial help,just to get conned by people who don't care what effect their scam has on other people!!!!!!!PURE SCUM PLEASE ADD THIS NUMBER TO THE SCAM LIST TO LET PEOPLE KNOW TO BEWARE  OF THIS NUMBER  AND THE  CON ARTISTS ON THE OTHER END  OF THE PHONE

Yes, I just received this call as well.  I knew immediately it was a scam but went ahead and let ole George give his schpeel.  My reference # is 109.  I did not call the # provided because I knew it was a scam.

I just had a call from a private nun saying I won a grant that I could used in anything I want it  $6500 she told me to call grands department #2122030514 she said it was from the government I called and I spoke with Michelle  Adams he's name he told me that if I have a green dot debit card  that I Need to deposit 280 after purchase and it will take 15 min for me to have all my money back and the grant hahaha this people crazy If I got money from the government well sent me a check they know our addres ...???? This people whant to take you money. Scammer SSS

Caller said I was given a Government grant for $6500. Wanted to get a green dot card and let him know before I got in store to make sure I got the right card. Callers name was Michael.
