He claims to be a stockbroker.  The first few times he called he claimed to be from John Thomas or Thomas John Financial and on subsequent calls he would not answer questions about what company he works for.  He calls and acts like we're bosom buddies and makes refeerences to previous conversations we've never had.  He has my name but I have an unlisted number.  Very obnoxious and pushy.  I strung him along to waste some of his time and he never broke character, even when I totally changed answers as to where I lived, etc.  As the conversation went on he started asking me how much money I had in the stock market and whether I'd be willing to give him my social security number over the phone if we did business together.  LOL!  He's called me at least six times, always with a different telephone number.  These are the numbers he's used.  On 4 of the calls it was unknown but on two calls it was identified as John, Thomas Financial.

Do not give this man any information.

Same thing as Rc said... he referred to a conversation we never had and tried to sell me Facebook stock pre-IPO.  At least come up with something believable and don't start off the conversation by lying to me.

This man called my business, saying his name was Anthony. I was on the other line and it rang through to my voicemail. he then called back a few seconds later.  Said he was looking to talk with my partner, and I told him he was not in. He then asked for his cell. Said he had just called and it went to voicemail. When I asked who he was with he got nasty and said he had just gotten off of the phone with my partner, when I inquired how he did that if he called our office and got voicemail, he then yelled at me and hung up.  What a complete jerk and scam!!

I get the same calls and I just tell them the owner in not interested in his services, thank John But I will be call you to harrass you next time!
