They called yesterday asking for someone in a residency. I ended the call and got 2 more phone calls yesterday. (The same number) I answered it but heard small breathing and then the line busy tone went on.
It was a woman who said her name was Mrs. Thomas.

This number keeps calling for my teenage son?!

did you ever find out who it was? they keep calling for my daughter.

They called for my brother. I see that the people they called for might have an age similarity. They are gonna tell me later I told them to call back.

I got this strange call from this number. I was eating and got annoyed with the phone's ring. So I picked it up and said hello. Kind of curious as to why I was getting a call from NY. A man answered and asked if my parents were home. He didn't know the person herself had picked up. I said they weren't home. I honestly felt like I was in trouble. But then I googled the #, I wasn't feeling I was in trouble. So I told my grandparents that if this man ever calls again, they need to come get me, and I'll answer the phone again. I don't like when weird men call me from a place I've never been to in my entire 15 years of my life.

I have seen this call many times on my Caller ID but didn't pick it up because I don't know anyone in New York.  I answered the call tonight & some guy with a garbled voice ask me if I had a daughter that was a Junior in High School.  Too weird and very spooky.

In looking at the other comments....maybe an internet sexual predator?

The person asks to speak to Emily's mom. (My daughters name)they hung up when I inquired more. I called the number back (which no I will probably have a huge charge on my bill) a teen girl answered and acted like it was her personal cell and I had gotten the wrong number. If I receive a charge other than a long distance one on my bill, I will update this. I think it is a phishing scam...make you concerned so you call the number back.

They called an asked for my teenage daughter. I called the number back and it said it was out of service.

A man calling from this number asked if my teenage daughter (by name)'s parents were home.  When I asked what it was regarding, they hung up. I called back and got the recording that the number was out of service.  I called back again and the phone rang endlessly.  Disturbing.

Ok, so I hung around long enough for someone to answer. The guy is calling for Test Prep Services. He's selling SAT & ACT study programs for $199. Of course, there's there period of time you can check it out & if you don't like it, you send it back for 100% money back guarantee ... Blah, blah, blah! My daughter says they have a class that prepares them for these tests. Way back when I took the SAT, we bought a huge book & im sure there's something out there for much less than $199!

Call at least once a day.  Do not answer as we have no New York acquaintances.  Never leave a message on the machine.
