the person hung up when i answered the phone

I have received two calls from "Sal Amante" at this number.  Caller ID comes up with John Thomas Financial.  He asked for my boss, and when I asked who was calling he gave me his name and said he'd be familiar with his name and company and what is his cell number?  I said he isn't familiar with the name or company and he said, "Again, what's his cell?"  I said I'm not giving you his cell and Sal asked when he'd be in, I told him I didn't know, then he hung up.

I just got a call and he asked me for my boss's cell and I told him I wouldn't give him that he asked if I was his assistant, I told him I wasn't and asked if wanted to speak with someone else here, he hung up.

I have received over 10 calls from Sal Amante and asked nicely to have my boss's name taken off of his call list. He was demanding his cell phone number.  He keeps calling and will not give out his phone number. He is also from John Thomas Financial. He is extremely rude.

Tell them about the rude call from Sal Amanti and they will add your number to the do not call list.

Constant calls from this Sal. Says he's with John Thomas and calling regarding "new business". He assures me every time that my Chairman will know who he is if I just told him. I pretend to ask then tell Sal that my bosses have know idea who the caller is.

Other times if I say that the owner is out, Sal will ask for his cell phone number. Seems like the same scenario as other posters.

It seems this "Sal" guy will not stop. I just received a message asking to call him back at (212) 229-7856. I don't know this guy from a hole in the wall, and will NOT return his call. If he calls my job again, he's going to get an ear full.....
