DO NOT TALK TO THESE GUYS!! I received a call from "John Lee" at John Thomas Financial. This guy has been calling tons of times and won't take no for an answer. If you have money and they know it -- they'll just keep calling. I listened to his pitch (they're running a boiler room for sure), and say "not now, but you can call back in 3 months". He called back 2 days later. I asked him again to call back in 3 months and reminded him now was not the time. He called again 2 days later. I told him that he was less likely to get my business if he didn't respect my desires (to call back in 3 months when I had money to invest). He started yelling at me: "Is this how you do business?! How old are you? 7 years old? Maybe 8 years old?" He called me a prick. I hung up the phone. Now, one week later the SAME GUY IS CALLING ME BACK AGAIN - but this time he says his name is "Sal". DO NOT TALK WITH THESE GUYS. DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY ARE A BOILER ROOM SHOP. John Thomas Financial just wants to take your money, and their guys treat you TERRIBLE (call you "prick", tell you you're 7 years old, lie about who they are, etc). How do they honestly expect people to invest when their guys do stuff like that?!?

Yes, clearly a merely semi-competent boiler room operation.

In case you're wondering if there is any meat behind the talk - I decided to give them a shot.

John Thomas Financial turned a good and worthwild business and cause and turned it into a Pump and Dump scheme.  AMBER Ready new CEO, Frank Del Vecchio as committed consumer and securities fraud.  Mr. Del Vecchio issued John Thomas Financial and John Thomas Bridge and Opportunity Fund more then 34 million shares with the forged signature of the former CEO of the Company for more than seven month.

Mr. Del Vecchio filed a registration statement that stated AMBER Ready had sold more then 4000 between March 2009 and September 2009 enrollments, but in a deposition stated the company had 600 enrollment.  At least 4 employee of the company says AMBER Ready had less then 300 enrollments.  The false statements were made to allow the Securities and Exchange Commission to approve the Company's stock to trade.

Mr. Del Vecchio also issued more than 160 stock certificates containing the forged signature of the prior CEO of the Company.  The former CEO of the Company sent Mr. Del Vecchio letters and e-mails requesting his forged signature no longer be used.  Mr. Del Vecchio ignored the letters and e-mails and continued using the forged signature on stock certificates for several months.  Mr. Del Vecchio confessed to issuing the stock certificates in a deposition while under oath on June 24, 2010.

With overwhelming proof that Mr. Del Vecchio used his position as the Deputy Police Chief of Fairview, New Jersey to commit fraud by knowingly marketing and selling a nonworking child safety application in a for profit company to the public, now the IT Manager and Sr. Systems Administration confirms the AMBER Ready mobile phone application did not work.  The former employees letter further confirms that Mr. Del Vecchio hired Shining Star Web Strategies to develop AMBER Ready's mobile phone application to replace the mobile phone application designed by the founder of the AMBER Ready.  The letter goes on to state that Mr. Del Vecchio told the IT Manager that Shining Star would not be able to create the mobile application without duplicating the application developed by Blinglets Inc, which was also the design of Kai Patterson, who was the founder of the company.  The IT Manager states the discussion took place after the founder was no longer with AMBER Ready and about the middle to the end of September 2009.

To date, most investors have no knowledge the AMBER Ready mobile phone application does not work and what happened to their more than 14 million dollars, since AMBER Ready has terminated its employees because the company has run out of money.  At this point, will Frank Del Vecchio, Gary Savage or John Thomas Financial break the news to the investors or will they continue to raise money from additional investors without disclosing this material fact?  Only the former employees of the company have demonstrated the necessary integrity to tell the truth.  AMBER Ready has not provided any press releases or posted anything on their website to disclose the problems with the company's mobile application, financial problems or false statements in the documents provided to the Securities and Exchange Commission.  Will any of these parties contact the Bergen County Sheriff, other police departments and their supporting organizations to disclose the truth?

    Only time will tell...

    Sincerely,

    A Former AMBER Ready Employee.

    Former Investor
John Thomas Financial is by far the most unprofessional and unethical brokerage firm I've ever dealt with. A day after I purchased a large block of common stock, I was informed I could no longer speak or work to the representative that sold me the stock, and must now work with their so-called VP of Investment (Greg Lewis) in terms of future transactions.  Within a day or so passed and I received a call from Greg Lewis,  (you can already tell this guy don't give a damn about his client except to make money for himself....) somehow convinced/almost forced me to load up additional shares since I'm now working directly with a "big dog".. After seeing my investment dip by more than 20% within 2 wks and losing substantial money, I called Greg to execute a sell order on all of my stocks with JTF and of course, he refused to do so stating it will be the biggest mistake of my life. Shortly after my call into JTF, I received a call from another Brokerage firm, as I told him about my situation and regarding my experience with JTF (rude over the phone, won't take no for an answer, and  unprofessional - no follow-up, communication, won't take calls...etc).  He did some due diligence in researching the company (JTF) for me and informed me that JTF is probably the last company you want to work with and that it was a huge mistake working with them.....As this is not public information... JTF actually received a cease and desist order from the SEC/Fed for a period of 1 wk due to their unethical practice recently, and within the 3 yrs they've operated their business, has received much more than a fair amounts of complaints (just google it)... let alone scams under their belt.

Be very cautious when they call.... I learned my lesson and I'd be surprised if any of their brokers could sustain any long-term relationships with their clients based on their business practice...and would be surprised if they remain in business.

Your boss Tommy Belesis is nothing but a ratt that just testified against his life long friend chris Tarantino today!, get a copy of the transcript on how he stole cars and dealt drugs for a living -  the transcript  will be online for the world to see that you work for a two face rat that would sell out his mother to save his own skin. I think the sec is going to be very interested in what Tommy had to say today at this trial- let's see how long they let this dirtbag stay in the business.

Sean Kaplan (or Caplan?) from John Thomas at 800-257-1537 constantly calls our company asking for one of our employees saying that "he's an old buddy of his". He doesn't know our employee personally at all which is completely dishonest and sketchy. I mean, you're going to lie right up front and expect to get called back? I didn't even pass the message through, but instead I called the corporate office and made a complaint about him. Not only did he straight-up lie to my face, but he was very rude in tone and when I asked him how to spell his last name, he said "i'm sure you can figure it out". RUDE. Totally disrespectful and I can tell you right now - he's never getting that message through to our employee he's trying to reach. Not so long as I'M on reception. Moron.

Got a call today from "John Ecker" at "John Thomas" who asked for my boss by name.

They call regularly but never get past me because they refuse to leave a number we can call back later. 95% of all sales calls can be waylaid, if you simply demand a number up front.

    When a cocky salesperson calls,
They will ask you up front: is your boss in?
    BUT NEVER ANSWER THAT QUESTION!
Even if you are the boss!

    I simply ask three questions:

May I ask who is calling?
    And you are with Whom?
    And your number?

Usually they will offer the first two - talk really fast and act like they are impatient.

After the third question they either hang up or try to bully me and I sound completely unfazed and repeat my question - three or four times if they act like they do not understand.

If necessary, explain if they are doing legitimate business then they can provide you a legitimate number for your boss to call back. Or they can feel free to fax or mail us some literature at their leisure.

Not that we would waste our time with them anyhow. It just is a technique to weed out the truly seedy riff raff. Why would we want to give our hard earned money to someone who did not have to work to earn it. Let them go out and do some legitimate work.

Be a good dog. Don't let the wolves in your door, and don't let them sniff at your books. They are wolves and you are the guard dog and your company is the livestock that you have to protect.

We after taking calls for months with some suggestions that worked out when I tracked them, I gave them a shot. in 8 weeks he managed to loose 24% of my investment and charged 6% to broker them. All in 8 weks starting August 2011. Wish I saw these write-ups before. Didn't come up with JT Financial search. Darn!

STAY AWAY. They lost 70% (as in mostly realized losses) in a few months. Commissions are too  high, profits are non-existent. Sad thing is that I hung up on them months before, but thought they were someone else when they called back.My mistake.

I was there for a short period and did not appreciate the "high pressure sales pitch". I find it to be demonic. Very few, if any, broker there practice fundamental investment principles which are based on -risk, reward, and prudence. Question any and all investment institutions.
Don't take anyone that represent a bank or firm as if they are in our best interest.
Don't place your eggs all in one basket, consider other alternative to hedge against stock such as metals. Goldmoney.com is an ideal financial tool for the purpose of preserving purchasing power and is very liquid. There are pros, cons and unexpected outcomes to all situations.
Don't jump into anything that is considered safe because no such thing exists especially if dealing in Federal Reserve Notes.
We currently operate under a fiat currency system which in itself is highly questionable, however, can benefit a savvy investment minded person (individual) persons (legal entity)

JTF's "Contact Us" web page doesn't provide an Email address (strange, huh?), but they provide a toll-free fax number: (800) 598-9945.

So this means faxing, say, black pages to them is totally free to us.  Cool, huh?
