Just got a call from this number and caller ID showed it as Traffic Control...  I said "HELLO" and they hung up.

I have gotten multiple calls from this number, almost every morning this week. They don't leave a message. I called them back, they asked me for my name. Told them I didn't want to give them my name and the guy said "Why? Are you on America's most wanted?" Very obnoxious. I hung up on him.

Very annoying calls.Who are these people and why do they call?

They've called four of the last five days. .. no voicemails. Super annoying.

Caller ID said "WARR DIV" and they were calling about a warranty. I said I couldn't represent the person they were asking for and they hung up.

I am sceptical as to the legitimacy of this number for anything, much less warranty information. Perhaps next time they call I'll keep pretending to be the person they wanted to speak with (a housemate) and find out how much a scammer they are.

Received a call from this number called it back Caller ID said "Traffic Control" and the woman who
answered wouldn't identify whom I was calling and or what business they were.

I think it is a new way of a scam call. The caller ID shows Traffic Control. They don't leave a message on the answer machine.

Called and hung up..came up as New NY, NY on my cell phone

I just call them back and hang up couple of times.  See how they feel when they mess with the wrong person

Only comes up as the number on my phone nothing else. Calls every day. Tired of it.

Called several times a day, didn't answer it though.

They call several times a day for the last few weeks. They leave no messages. When I called them back to find out who they are they answered the phone as National Protection. I requested the nature of their business and they would not give it to me. They wanted to know my full name and when I requested first to know the nature of their business they just hung up on me. Sounds like a scam call.

I just got a 15 second voicemail of silence from this number and I called it back. They were something related to GM's finance something, trying to get me to buy an extended warranty on my car. They knew my name, address and make of my car, which made me stick on a tad longer than I otherwise would've. Told them I wasn't interested and they let me go after trying to see if there were any other cars I had or if I knew anyone who would've wanted an extended warranty. In retrospect, that call was pretty sketchy.

They called me several times without leaving a message. I called them back, as above poster stated, it was a company called National Protection trying to sell me an extended warranty on my 2014 Vehicle. I said no thank you I'm not interested. The lady was pleasant and we hung up. They called me AGAIN today. This is ridiculous.

Similar experiences. Caller ID comes up as "TRAFFICCONTROL". I saw this number yesterday and came to this site. When I saw the same number today, I decided to answer. The male caller started out with a big loud and long yawn. When he realized I was on the line he was only slightly less rude. He claimed to be from Auto Protection Services. He wanted to know about my "2007 Ford". When I told him I know longer owned the car, he asked, "Whataya drivin now?" When I told him it was a newer car still under manufacturers warranty, he asked, "Whatisit? Whataya drivin now? Come on, whataya drivin now? Is it a Chevy? It may not be covered."

Even if it was legit, I don't buy extended warranties. This guy came across like someone trying to collect on an overdue loan. I strongly suspect it is a scam. I'm absolutely certain I will never do business with this guy. If I ever answer their calls again (unlikely) it will only be to string them along and waste their time.

I received a phone call from this number and it showed as "TrafficControl", as others have claimed. The last time they called was a few minutes ago and the person hung up as soon as I picked up the phone. The same number called yesterday too.

They are scammers and say they are with Jeep warranty renewal but are not.  The young man that called was rude and hung up on me when I told him they are not affiliated with Jeep. He said "why you gotz to talk to me like dat" a true professional!
