Got my 1st call from them today (11/23/10).  Got a message from Rebecca at XYZ Financial (she had an accent so of course the company name didn't come in clear).  She said I was pre-approved for financial help.  I never applied for any financial/debt help, so it must be another collection agency.  I have several. :-)

Unwanted sales call

Just another spoofed number from a collection agency or repo company that calls at odd times and thinks they're going to catch me off guard.  They have an entire catelog of spoofed numbers from, probably, every state in the Union.  My advise is don't answer an number you don't recognize, and they almost never leave a voicemail message.  If you don't have caller ID and you're getting harassed by these parisites you'll make you're life easier with it.  They love to call early in the A.M. or mid-after noon has been my experience.  They have no legal standing and they love to you attempt intimidation by claming to be Investigator so&so!
