Suspected scam - something about license verification and asked if I was in front of my "windows computa" - could barely understand the foreign woman calling... when I said "what computer?" she didn't seem to understand me and repeated
"a windows computa" again.  I hung up then but I should have played along a little while to see what they would try to pull.

Caller ID said "40 North"... It came at just about 8:00 AM June 23, 2014.

(Don't give these people control of your computer or you could end up with viruses or paying a ransom to get your data unlocked!)

They called me at 7:40am on 6/24/14. Said there was a problem with my windows operating system. I know this scam but I played along and then told him to jump out of a window. These people all need to die!

They called and said that I have an account with them that tells them that my computer is having problems when I log into the internet. When I told the man that I have no such account and that he was full of BS he started arguing with me. He then tried to get me to go online and log into something at which point I hung up. This is not the first time they have called.  SCAM!!!!

Calling every day after 9:40 pm and hangs up. Wakes children.

Got 3 calls from this number today on 6/25/2014 one which came at 1:30 in the morning! - 212-646-8946!  Caller ID 40 North.  These people are scamming scum!  They say they are from Microsoft and there has been a glitch showing on your computer.  They want you to go to your computer and type in a web address.  DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!  this will give them access to all your files and personal information.  "MICROSOFT" will "NEVER" call you!   The callers have Indian accents and from what I found out it's a Verizon landline.  I called Verizon to complain and they told me to use star 60 (*60) to block the number.  You can also put in a complaint at 1-800-518-5507.

Call after midnight - foreign accent. Scam for sure!

Have gotten several calls from them, the first after I had had a problem with my computer that resolved itself, and I said there was no problem. (The caller, also a foreign woman started off by saying they were calling about my computer problem.) Nothing until earlier in the week. Got a call at 8 am Monday, told them not to call back; got a call at 6:58 am on Tuesday, and a few calls that I missed while not at home. Last night, when I answered the phone (sometimes I don't get a voice), and got a male with a foreign accent with the same spiel, I said, "I have reported you to the FTC" (which I had and I highly recommend it at ftc.gov), I got an immediate dial tone. Hoping this ends the calling. And that the FTC tracks them down.

They have called at 7:20 am three days in a row, then several times each day, the twice after 10 pm. Hang ups after answered

40 north says the caller ID..they called june 24 and this morning again june 26..last month it was a number out of a different state...but it seems it is the same MO !! we are a company representing  MICROSOFT and we received reports from WINDOWS that there is a problem..please go to this web address so we can upload a virus to your computer then charge you an arm ,leg and a testicle to keep your information safe !!then we will gain information on all your credit cards and bank accounts and drain you dry !! same M.o. same non- american ( pakistani,Iraqui,[***] turbin wearing cammel jockey ) everytime !! this has been going on for a few years now and every month they change their phone number.. I think they are number SPOOFING the verizon landlines from different states !!

Just got my third call from this number. Caller ID comes up Latus Partners. I have not answered but when I tried calling got a message the number was not in service. Huh?  Scam.for sure!  

They called at 7:07 this morning. Showed Latus Partners on caller ID for  me too.  When I groggily said hello,  they hung up.  Not looking forward to more of these as other folks have  gotten!

They are calling me daily - once got a call at 8a, a couple times at 9pm!!  you cant call back cos the number is blocked.

Have received 6 calls from these morons in the last 2 days when I answer they hang up.

These a.holes need to lay off.  Calling multiple times daily @ ALL HOURS of the day and night.  Cancer patient doesn't need this aggravation. Don't answer so don't know what type of call except ANNOYING.

They've called us 6 times today.  Comes up  as Latus Partners. We called back today and it just says not able to connect to anyone.
This is a scam for sure.

I have been getting calls from 212-546-8946 at all hours, total bs. Scam of some sort, requesting block from phone co.

I am getting 4 to 6 calls a day from this number.  They come in as early as 7:15 AM but never later than 4 PM.   When I pick up, no one responds.  This has been going on for over two weeks.

Called at 07:15. It was early so I grabbed the phone........they hung up!

40 North has been calling several times a day for the past week.  They are afraid, I guess, to leave a message or they may be too busy trying to make a buck and engage those that answer the phone.  Keep on calling, waste your time jerks!
