Called and got the customary 1-2 secs of silence before hanging up.  blocked and reported.

The usual caveat:  don't presume the caller ID is telling the truth when identifying this number.
The first call is a common qualifying call, logging details about whether or not any person or any machine answers the call.  There'll be more calls, maybe from the same number, maybe from a different number.  If you or your voice mail picked up, consider yourself logged by their database.

Called at 6pm.. let machine answer... a minute of silence/static noises, then disconnect.

212 554 3689 called, total silence, then hung up.
