I have requested numerous times for this agency to remove me from their call list and they continue to call twice a day trying to sell me something for seniors, which I am not.  Please remove immediately.

Robo caller.  Message offering ......  a deal of lifetime for seniors............  

NY - Got a call around 11 am today.  It rang once.  No message.  Did not answer.  Caller ID just read, "New York"

Can we find out the carrier?  They are abetting in stalking and harassment.

Undoubtedly another spoofed number re a medic alert plus $3,000 in coupons. - they just keep changing the number.  Also have blocked 212-662-5932, 212-662-1326, 212-662-8642.  Then there are other area codes - 310-495-1616, 253-245-2531, 562-2274-2416, 714-607-6615, 714- 607-6429 - -  and they keep coming!

Caller ID'd as New York NY   212 662 1932 No message was left and of course I never answer numbers I don't recognise. Obviously a scammer because legitimate businesses do not violate the "do not call" register.  Also, a legitimate business would surely leave a message.

I received a call from this number this afternoon at 3:03. When I answered, it was one of those free medical alert prerecorded messages.  When I was connected with a "representative", the guy asked me who he was speaking with and if, in case we got disconnected, if the number he called was the best number to call back at.  I gave the man fake information and I told him that I would not tell him if the number he called was a good number to call back at because I knew he was a scammer and I hung up.

Yep, your all correct. My question why pay the government for the No Call List???????

To answer your question,  you are not paying for the DNC Registry list.   It is a section within the FTC and is self funded and fully supported  by those Legitimate and Registered with the FTC American  businesses who pay an average of $3,500.00 per year,  as required to purchase by the FTC,  plus any fines that run from 10k to 16K  for violators of the dnc registry list.
The sole and only purpose for it's creation and existence today is to "LIMIT"  the amount of Telephone Sales calls to those registered on the list  BY THOSE BUSINESSES WHO ARE REGISTERED WITH THE FTC.   The DNC is a free service to citizens at no additional Tax contribution.   It is just a "List"  that is maintained by the FTC.  and updated for purchase by those Registered businesses.  List cannot be purchase or accessed by anyone but those who are Registered with the FTC and have their Business information in the data base.

Notsopleased,   when is the last time you have had calls from sears,  walmart,  walgreens,  CVS,   your local grocery store announcing sales,  pharmacies,  Furniture stores hawking sales,   local insurance salesmen,  Car dealerships offering the buy of the day,    your bank,    and all of the many,   many  Legitimate American businesses in the US,   who could be calling you but DON'T CALL  because they are honoring your request on the DNC not to be called?    That is who the dnc is for.   Not scammers,  and scofflaws.  
Telemarketing=  The Telephone sale of goods or services.  Everything else is under the jurisdiction of law enforcement,   FCCs,  FBI,   or the appropriate entity.

This telephone number called me yesterday afternoon at 3:03.  I did not answer and my caller ID read the ten digit number as the name of the caller.  No voice mail was left.

I am in Connecticut and just got a call from this number.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.   Since they did not leave a message I assume they are telemarketers and so I have added this number to my blocked call list.  

My phone number has been on the National Do Not Call Registry since August 2003 so if they are telemarketers, they are violating the law.

To block calls like this I got a Panasonic KX-TGE245B that allows me to block up to 250 numbers and/or area-codes.  Panasonic has several new 2014 models that will block that many numbers.  You simply save the CID to the blocked list.  You can also block area codes by adding them to what they call a “Range List” (you are blocking the range of numbers starting with that area code).    

got a call   3:45 pm in Maine. did not answer it , they did not leave a message, i assume they are telemarketers.
