Call received while driving. No reason to receive a number from this person.

this number claims to be working with the Obama admin to help americans "lower their tax debt owed to the irs" haha i say because i dont owe any back taxes this im sure of.

Just got the call - dont owe back taxes. This should be illegal.

I had the say situation happen to me on 9/20/2011 @ 12:16pm Stateing with irs and we owe back taxes and we don't, SCAM SCAM SCAM be careful who you speak to, if you owe back taxes the irs wont call they will mail you...Unless they are returning a call

Received a call on my cell, they did not leave a message. Glad I didn't answer.

I didn't answer either.  IME it's usually a waste of my time if I don't know the number and they can't bother to leave a message.

This joker just called me and I heard some noise in the back ground then a tape started playing with that woman saying the business I work for owes back taxes lol stupid scammers

It is; it's called a scam.  And, if they call you back, give 'em a good blast in the ear with a metal whistle or air horn.  Should only take once.

Received the call but didn't answer. Looked it up here.  I'm going to call back until they answer and have some fun.

Such a nice, bubbly pleasant voice yammering on no end about how she's going to help me in just 6 months get out from under the IRS.  Trouble is, I don't owe the IRS a penny and never have had a problem with them.  Who IS this woman?  Is she being reported to Do Not Call?

Called cell did not leave message at 4:07 pm 10-3-2011. I don't answer numbers I can't identify.

Wonder if these folks ever Google their own numbers and end up reading through these posts?

They have bean calling me for weeks! They just called a few seconds ago, when I called the number back it was disconnected. I'm going to contact my phone company and see if I can block them. I NEVER owe taxes.

I got a call from this number at 11:50am today. I didn't answer it and they did not leave a message. All the caller Id said was the phone number and New York NY. I do not  know who it was or what it was about..

I didn't pick up, looked like spam.  If someone gets a call back from this num and they do pick up, i'd be curious to know where they got their contact list from.  If they can't answer that, hang up.

Not the first time they've called.  Anytime I get a call from Area 212 I figure it's a scam these days.  They use a machine, make a thousand auto calls, hit on one debilitated elderly person, and they've made their quota.  They ought to be shut down, but no enforcement.  W 129th Street?  A tough area.
