- JPXThis particular phone 212-662-5375 called twice today, July 18th 2014 back to back and my C. I. D displayed it as 2126625375. Not side who owns this phone number but after checking this website, I see life alert is at it again. No seniors living if in this house. Another telemarketer or solicitor wasting his/her time calling here since I don't answer my phone from numbers I don't recognize especially when the C.I.D displays stuff like that

- JEN| 4 repliesI have 2 senior parents, my dad is in poor health and got not 1 but 2 phone calls from this place today!!! Not the slightest bit amused that these jack [***] call multiple times and is a scam!!!! Get a life and quit messing with mine. Why is that the phone companies can't do anything about these callers even after there are this many complaints??? Hope they call the phone company president next and maybe someone will shut off their #!!!!

- DreadIf you're getting unwanted calls like this on your cell, there's an easy way. Use Google Voice for your voicemail instead of carrier mail. You can get the app for free, and to set it up, go to google.com/voice. You can then create a contact, name it whatever you want, I call mine "Spammers". Set this contact to go to voicemail (you can set a custom message for them, too). Then, whenever you determine a number to be from an unwelcome caller, save the number to "Spammers" or whatever you named it, and you'll never hear from them again. In some cases, they might actually leave a message, which you can easily delete from the phone app or on the web. It's free, easy and there's no strings attached.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- steveI let it go to the voice mail and no message was left.
The caller ID said New York,NY - PiaHave received calls from both this number and an alternate number 212-662-5375 a number of times. They...and all other junk calls...are entered in my contact list under the same name so that, the next time they call, they are announced cheerfully by my caller ID: "Call from Spam"! That way I don't have to look them up to assure I have not missed a call that I need to return.
- janeKeep calling, no message. I am so sick of this phone ringing day and night with bogus calls.
- Jeremy WestbySpam calls from this number frequently...

- Kentucky SeniorGot phone call from this number tonight and didn't leave a message. Want to know why they are calling. I did not answer phone.
- brownbear123 replies to Leea| 10 repliesWHEN will you people learn???????????????? NEVER answer a call from a caller you do not know. Its a computer calling you at random. That is why there is no one on the line when you answer. The voice activated computer will give you a live person (sometimes) when you talk to the machine.. I have seen where people leave messages like "Don't call me anymore" "I am on the do not call list" Some people buy a whistle and blow it into the phone. The computer LAUGHS at all of these things and if you are stupid enough to try to call the computer back you get a "NOT IN ORDER OR WRONG NUMBER" RESPONSE. bUT THANKS FOR TRYING TO CALL BACK BECAUSE THE COMPUTER DID CATCH YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND YOU WILL GET M A N Y M O R E C A L L S. BTW The do not call list means nothing. Also many of these people use real names like "March of Dimes" American Cancer Assn." American Diabetes Assn. American Heart Assn,Etc, If you want to give to a charity YOU CALL THEM.
- CindyHang up then dial *60 then #01# adds the number to your "blocked" list if you have ATT. I would have thought it would be better not to answer at all, but apparently that sometimes simply makes them more determined to call - again and again. I know too, that like email scammers, they will try again from another number ... FB today had an article about suing telemarketers - apparently there's a $500 fine involved - $1500 if you are on their internal Do No Call list.

- HannieThese a$$wipes don't seem to want to leave any of us alone. I don't want a free life or medic alert & I don't want any solar panels so leave me the frig alone. I have a Panasonic w/room to block 30 calls. You know how long that lasts? A week if I'm lucky. I think the DNC registry, which was set up to stop these people from harassing us, should have to buy ea of us a call blocker that blocks 1500 cls. Gee, that may last a couple of months........I am so fed up w/this, it isn't even funny. I have no idea how they got my # but I average two to three cls a day & it's driving me nuts. My advice to anyone who reads this: report ea & every cl to the dnc registry like I do. If they get totally inundated w/reports, then maybe they'll start doing their job. I wonder how much they get paid for doing nothing.........because they are totally ineffective. OMG, what a shock: a dept of our gov't that's ineffective? Wow
