Received call from above number and I rejected it. I then found this useful site. I really dislike telemarketing and scams.

No message left. Calls several times a day.

Scammer...caller id says "Blackwell, J A".  We don't know anyone in New York, and all the other NY calls have been for medic alerts, so it's a new #.  We've been slammed with these calls...which we don't answer if we don't recognize the name or #.   Back braces, medic alerts, car warranty, pain medications, veteran donations, phony IRS calls, arthritis donations...you name it, we ignore!  Love this site because it does let me figure out who these scammers are.

Called, didn't leave message, shortly after a call from 212-662-9720.  Also no message left.

Same thing as "Anon." Another scammer: Caller ID reads J A BLACKWELL.  Don't know any Blackwells let alone in NY.

Keeps calling, when i answered they hang up, try to redial them back, busy signal!!!!! They keep calling every few hours!!!!!

same call I receive at least once a week, I have asked them to take me off their list.  No one I know lives in NY let alone someone has recommended me for these medical items.  I have told them at least three other times to take my number off their list.  I guess next time I will report them to our state's Attorney General.  

Caller ID= JA Blackwell. Was not home at the time, hope that Mr/Mrs/Miss Blackwell had a very nice time listening to how it sounds when my phone rings after he dials my number. FYI Mr/Mrs/Miss Blackwell if I am home when you call, the same thing is going to happen. Have at it.  :)

I make it a simple rule never to answer any call where I don't recognize the name or the number on my Caller ID. Any legitimate caller will call back with more info or will send a letter. This is apparently a cold-calling operation, and he/she/it will give up sooner or later

Selling medical alert systems and calling me at 7:25 in the morning AND I'm on the do not call list!!!

Omg!! They just called me at 6.20 in the morning  and they hung up b4 I pick up! I'm fuming right now who that hell calls at 6 in the morning? I do get  a lot of calls  from telemarketers  and I am on DNC list this is so annoying .

Same thing just happened to me.  J Blackwell called me at 7:21 am which is way too early for telemarketers in the eastern time zones to be calling in western time zone for who knows what.
I too am on the "National Do Not Call list."  Does that even matter to JA Blackwell?  Didn't answer the call and will report it...and block that number. I'm SO sick of this invasion of my privacy!

same type of call this morning at 07:20 with no one speaking & no message left!!

Also received call from this number.  We didn't answer it.   Very much appreciate the notes alerting folks about these type scam calls.  

Just received a call from the above telephone number. Caller was unable to get past my telephone system's auto attendant.

I must note that a telemarketer is spoofing the telephone number of an elderly person who lives in New York City.

How do I know? Because I have received two calls that, supposedly, originated from my own telephone line.

I have Verizon FiOS so nobody can tap my phone line except within the house, or, in the Verizon Central Office.

I just got a familiar recorded call that began with a man saying, "Hello, seniors!"  I didn't bother listening to any more.  The caller was identified as PRIVATE, though, which is a new one for me.

Celled 12:05 PM 12.03.2014 PRIVATE CALLER...NEVER answer those - but investment I've ever made is a Panasonic phone that will block up to 250 numbers.  Next time a call from that number comes to my phone it will not even ring through.   I, too, received a call from my own phone number recently - really?

Called at 12:23pm as "BLACKWELL, J A" then again at 12:56pm as "Private Name". Seriously????

Called my business cell phone. Did not leave a message. Now blocked using Sprint's website.
