Got a call from these scum bags at 09:30 this morning. I am always amused when one of these lower life forms tries the ploy, "Hey ___, this is Joe Dirtbag, do you remember me?" The reason, by the way, this tactic is used is an attempt to circumvent the Do Not Call list by suggesting that a previous business relationship exists.

It never does work.

Got an angry, disturbing, harassing call from Barry Jin. Screaming and ranting, barely spoke english. Very unprofessional. Seemed to think bad mouthing people would encourage me to send him money. Very strange. Potential boiler room if you ask me.

Got a call from Barry Jim. Crazy, screaming, off the boat sounding Chinese thug, told me he makes his clients millions of dollars.  Kept saying "capital appreciation". Told me I was a fool for not buying GWBU which all of his clients own "millions" of. This was at $1.7. A week later the stock was at .23 cents. Total scammer and fraud.

Pump & dump stock operation.    REALLY?!?  Who would buy anything from some idiot cold calling?  Especially an idiot cold calling in violation of the Do No Call List.    

If they can't abide by a simple DNC List, what on Earth would make you believe that they would treat you any better as a client.

Calls from these scum bags started again yesterday (9-11,) followed by another one today! They truly must hire chimps to man their phones.

Left no message after two rings. Not interested. Called at 2:49 PM on 10/23/2012. Have no dollars to invest if the message left by everyone else is as bad as it sounds. Got laid off and go by day by day.He can invest in me and I can guarantee no returns.

In their companies the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and the stock brokers get their commission no matter what. Heard that before I hope. They are not scammers, they are dangerous. Scammers are stupid. These folks, well they just need to hear the song "WIPE OUT".If we don't invest with them than they will be wiped out. Hows that for a surfer. We are from the generations that invented your media source, the generation that helped Americans land on the moon, the generation that will wipe out Obama Care and will get America back as a pround stand up country. We will stand for Israel. Not against God's chosen people. We are back. We will get this country back and we will get rid of your type. You are only as dangerous as we let you be and we will not let that happen again. You had your chance. We let you get your foot in the door and now we are going to slam it in your face. No more dollars from hard working tax payers for the free loaders who tried to pray on them through government programs. Go back to your country. Leave ours. We are back. John Carris Investments won't stop calling.. For over 100 days they have called every day. Now they are calling twice a day. I have asked repeatedly to be taken off their call list, with no luck. They want me to invest money with them!  After I let them know I wouldn't be investing with them, they started hanging up on me when I answered the phone. Now they are back to soliciting. When I say no, they just keep talking until I hang up.  No legit broker or investment agent has to call and harrass people. They should be investigated. for criminal activity as well as harrassment. If this isn't a criminal venture, there is no such thing.

I wholeheartedly agree with you - these guys are absolute scum! I thought I was FINALLY rid of them but they started calling again today. Calling first at 07:00, then again later at 08:10 and again at 09:00, until I finally disconnected the phone.

be sure to tell them to put you on "DO NOT CALL" list. and not take off call list. you must ask in this way. Phillip called for the owner. when i asked who he was calling for he just kept saying "wow" like he was just shocked that i did not give him the owner. I kept asking what it was regarding til he hung up. No one gets past the gatekeeper ;)

I am getting calls from John Carris Inv. and there is no one there.

John Carris Inv they keep calling and asking for one of my two bosses, and when I tell them he's not in, they just hang up. This is ridiculous.

That's why you just don't answer these calls.  If they get a "bite", they will continue to harass.  If you ignore them, eventually they will go away.  I only have one scammer who won't give up and I'm quite sure that's the one call my daughter mistakenly picked up. Common sense dictates that if something doesn't work, they've got to try something or someone else.  The problem is that not all of us have caller ID.  It is so essential, nowadays, especially for older folks, to obtain.  See my note, below, if they are still harassing you.

FINRA Files for Temporary Cease and Desist Order Against John Carris Investments

FINRA alleged that, among other things, the company and its CEO engaged in fraudulent activity and manipulation of Fibrocell Science stock. FINRA announced that Sept. 30 that it has filed for a temporary cease and desist order against John Carris Investments LLC and its CEO, George Carris, to immediately halt solicitations of its customers to purchase Fibrocell Science Inc. stock without making proper disclosures. The regulator alleged that during May, the company fraudulently solicited its customers to buy Fibrocell stock without disclosing that during the same time period, Carris and another firm principal were selling their shares. In an amended complaint, FINRA alleged that the firm, Carris and five other principals engaged in additional fraudulent activity and securities violations. FINRA said that while John Carris Investments acted as a placement agent for Fibrocell, Carris and the firm artificially inflated the price of Fibrocell stock by engaging in prearranged trading and by making unauthorized purchases of Fibrocell stock in customers' accounts. Carris and the company allegedly, through fraudulent means, sold stock and notes in its parent company, Invictus Capital Inc., by not disclosing its poor financial condition. FINRA also alleges that John Carris Investments issued false documentation that failed to reflect its payments for Carris' personal expenses and failed to remit hundreds of thousands of dollars in employee payroll taxes to the U.S. Treasury Department.
