Man with definite accent, probably Hispanic, wanted to repair my Windows Computer.  Had scam problems before concerning this. My computer is not a "windows".  Same caller has claimed to be associated with Dell and microsoft.

they hung up because they know that they will be caught if they mess with the wrong people . I think that has already happened if they give up to much information unknowingly the law will reach out with their long arm and bring them to justice .these cowardly scams are the same as bank robbers and should be treated as such.by the law.i hope that these people read this because they have probably went too far already. we all should sound the alarm and let these scammers know we have had enough of there crimes. beware scammers .

if anyone hears that the people of this scam number 1-212-746-8485 is caught please leave a post saying so. also if anyone knows more information about this scam with this phone number claiming to be with 24/7 I tech solutions.please leave a post also.there maybe a connection between the two.i dont know for sure.but if you look up 24/7 I tech solutions you will get a 1-800 number. someone out there should have connections to the right people .that would lead to their capture.i feel like this scam should be stop in it tracks.before someone we know gets scammed.

I received a call from someone claiming to work for Microsoft Windows and he told me that my windows computer has been sending him error messages and that he didn't want to delete them because it would erase my computer.  He asked that I go to my computer and I told him  that I din't believe him because I had just bought my computer and had not used it. He asked if I used the internet and I told him only on my phone then he hung up.  I have a mac not windows.

Just received a call from this number at 10:42am PST.  They gentleman was very nice and encouraging and in the end I ended up giving him my account number at Chase Bank so they could fix my computer from their offices.  The first deposit was for consulting fees.  Only $250.00 and my Mac will be 'Like Brand New Again'. (its a 2008 model macbook pro)  At least I don't have to go to Apple Genius bar as I am out of warranty.  When I said Mac he said no problem he has to hand it off to another colleague who specializes in all things Apple.  Very nice people.

This is second or third call I have received from the "Technical Department" I said what technical debt? It is about your computer. It is not working correctly. I said I don't own a computer and hung up.  I have been scammed by credit card frauds over the internet so I pay close attention to what scammer are saying. Some scammers have the ability to change the caller ID for the same number, so be careful out there.
