Called saying something about joining our currnet phone company.

Dead air, multiple calls.

Receive daily calls from this number. No one here does business with a company at this number.

They stated that they were Frontier communications, (My current carrier) and that they had negotiated a new contract with Advantage, my long distance provider. This is untrue. It is an attempt at slamming. They ask leading questions to get "Yes" answers out of you like, "Are you the one responsible for your Frontier billing?" They use those yes's to try to justify slamming you to a new carrier & provider.
You can freeze your current account by calling your provider to not allow billing changes.

I got called today as well and they were fishing for information.  I am not sure what's the ultimate purpose, but they are up to no good.

Tired of these people calling!!!!!!!!  It's all the time.  I told them NOT to call again and she hung up.  Convenient!!!!!!!!!!!!  How do we stop or report them??????????????????

Called wanting to speak to the person who handles phone service.  Told them to take us off their list and she hung up!

This number calls my place of business frequently.  Thanks for posting, i'll be sure never to use an affirmative word on the phone with them....i've got a few choice words in mind however.

This number has called my business several times.  Today when I answered, at first it was like nobody was there, then she said...Oh, I must have the wrong number...and hung up.  I guess I am scary to talk to????

Called wanting to speak to the person who handles phone service.  The phone call was transferred to my desk and when I answered the line with xxxxx speaking they hung up.  Now the have my name.
