They called, some unintelligible words, after saying 'I don't understand you', they hung up.

Told me my computer was sending signals to their computer and downloading spyware and malware. He asked if my computer was on. I just laughed and told him that I thought he was pulling my leg and I wasn't falling for it. I hung up. Hard to understand. I am sure he wanted to get control of my computer and info.

Caller sounds like an indian and is trying to get ahold of your computer.

A guy named "John" with a heavy accent told me the same thing he told Valerie.  I acted amazed and shocked, then told him to take a screen shot and send me a copy in the mail so I can deal with it, then hung up.  I'm glad people are catching on to these guys.

I just got the phone call also ... this time the guy, who sounded non-American, called himself Frank.  While the call came from 1-212-748-0492, the call back number he provided was 424-253-0684.  Scam all the way.

Same call about my computer sending distress signals.  He asked if it was on, I said no, he asked me to turn it on, I said I wasn't going to do that, he ended the call with the always polite "F&%K off!

Same story here.  Guessing they wanted access to my machine and either infect it or request credit card info to fix bogus virus.

says he is going to fix windows from Microsoft. have gotten this call a few times and ask him for a call back number and we tell him we know it is a scam and are reporting it to the FBI.  He doesn't give up. just keeps talking. We hang up.
Doesn't pay to talk with this moron from India. It will definitely confuse some people, because India is the new voice for everything these days. Better realize it is a Scam from the beginning and hang up.  Microsoft never calls you.
