they keep calling me, saying they're a attorney office, telling me I owe Cash United .net and I was goping to be arested. If I don't pay this place.

called this number and it is a news company in NY City?  I have no idea what in the world is going
on we live about 8 states away. lol

It seems that they are a gov't grant program wanting a bank account or card to transfer the funds. It is a scame.  When I told them I had no account, the called me a dity bas**** and hung up.

This is very well a scam they said i had won $7000 in grant money that never has to be paid back its shoes up on phone as k b net news.. i asked for an id number and name while getting all the information because i told them if you are federal gov't department then everybody has an id! All information is linked together in computers.. let me call you back after I verify this information and in the process they hung up on me. They think I'm stupid and no brains freakn scammers!!! pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are a scam.  It sounded like an Indian accent.. you know they are difficult to understand.. cant mistaken them for no other!  At that said their name was Jade Toddler lol come on Jade Toddler Indian people dont have names like that.  That person tried to say I had won a grant of $7,000 so if you are federal government you deal with IRS you have my information on file just issue me the check send it in the mail what are you waiting for??? REALLY dont we file taxes?? then they hung up on me wen trying to get more information out of them.  Stop trying to scam people dammit i will report this to higher authority idiots they asked for a person named Vanessa lol my name is not Vanessa i lied idiots i played you!!!!! could not take the heat huh? you want to call people and try and take there $ tuffn up so take the heat from the people you call by mistake!!!!!!!! don't worry one day your smarts will not be enough...you will slack somewhere not even knowing it!!

This number calls my cell phone every day when I answer they hang up .

This is the 3rd place that has called me in two days. I just hang up on them as soon as I hear the foreign accent. Calls also came from 510-943-3040 and 909-233-7108 don't fall for them hang up!!!!!

I got a call from this number this morning. I've been getting these scam calls for a while now. Like this morning when I answered the phone I started saying that this call is being recorded and will be sent to the FBI and that I know they are an internet scam. Works like a charm. I've been doing this with any number I don't know. Most just hang up and don't call back. Another thing I've done is changed my voicemail message to: "Due to the high number of harassing and annoying calls I've recieved, if I don't reconize your number you must leave me a message with your name, number and the reason of your call. If you choose not to leave me a message any future calls from this number will be blocked." This also works like a charm. The phone calls have slowed way down. I always let the first unknown number go to voicemail then the second time they call I start off with your being recorded...... each have hung up when I say that and have not called back.

got a call and they said they were authorized to release 7000.00 to me from the government as a grant to use several ways, however i was not to use it fro gambling or partying with. they asked me how i would use the money and i said i did not know how i would use it. they hung up, as they head someone in the back ground ask me something. this is an overseas scam, tapping into a phone listed for a news company. i hope you do not give them any information

I have received these calls too. The introduce themself saying they represent the "Government Grant Office". I decided to play with them and asked "which government?" and he said "yours"..... I told him I have duel citizenship and wanted to know which country he was representing.... he hung up.

I am on the "Don Not Call" register, but keep getting calls from A Beers person at 212-777-3455

K B Net News called me,as soon as I heard that accent I hung up. I guess its the Southerner in me but I just dont trust anybdy& nobody is gonna go through any trouble to give you money

I got the same exact call.  I asked how I would receive the money, and they gave me a choice between crediting a card, bank account or sending me a check.  I said "check".  They said there would be a processing fee.  I said, "Wait a minute!  Your going to send me a check, and you want me to give you account information so you can charge me a processing fee?"  He said, "Yes."  I said "Good-bye" and hung up.  If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Got call saying I had been awarded a $7000 governemnt grant, just for being a good citizen and paying my taxes, kind of like a refund. I was interested to here what they had to say. I gave them a closed account number to deposit the money into. I first had to call a James Mueller, with my grant approval number before I could get the money. The number I had to call is 202-905-0682. When I talked to "Mr. Mueller", supposedly in his office there was a dog barking in the background. I was told that to receive the funds I needed to pay a "once in a lifetime, application fee of $120.00". When I told him I have no money, he said well just call me when you have the money. Yeah, right, like that is going to happen.
Also, when I called back the 212-777-3455 number and tried to reach one of the extensions I was thanked for calling the office of Jeffrey Beers International (spelling may not be correct on the name, several ways to spell both).

These people are so annoying, they call, either don't say anything and hang up..or start to ask for a person and in mid sentence hang up. I never get a chance to tell them to stop harassing me, I'M ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST....I'm filing a report with the National DO NOT Call list....Hoping that will stop them!!!! I have caller ID, DAH....Get a new trick, this one is getting old!!!!

i asked them if i could get their name for when i contact the fbi and the guy started yelling shut up shut up and hung up on me.....hilarious they get so mad when you mess with them...i enjoy messing with them every day

I just got another call from these people and the man in a foreign accent states you have won X amount of money. I explained that I know this is a scam and I am on the do not call list and that I have already contacted the BBB and the FTC and he said he did not care and then started cursing at me and using very foul language. I advised if he called again I would file harrassment charges but now a new # is calling with the same man with the accent. IT WILL NEVER STOP!
