This number called our office and left a message on our doctor's extension.  Stated her name is Michelle and she would like to send a referral over. When I phoned her back, she used the exact same line (minus stating that she works for a local hospital) that she needs to speak directly with the doctor to make certain it's a good fit for the patient. I asked her if she is with Zocdoc since we have been called by them several times now. She said "No, have youbeen having trouble with them?" I said yes, described the last experience with pulling the doctor out between patients and she then hung up on me.  I called her back and asked for the patient name for referral, she said ok and startedtohang up again and then when I pressed for the name, she said it's for "Madeline." I asked for the patient's phone number and then she hung up on me again.  Do not interract with Zocdoc. Everytime your website moves up in the page rankings, it seems like they call to tryto getyouto buy their listing service us ng lies and deceipt to waste your doctor and staff's time. I will be filing a complaint with the FTC this afternoon on my lunch break.

We too have had the mysterious phone calls from "Michelle" in New York, although when she calls us she claims to be a PT with a patient to refer. Our office is in CA and I know that someone in NY isn't going to be sending us a patient. I don't answer most out-of-state calls because most are unfortunately telemarketers, but she leaves a vague voice message with a fake clinic name and this number to call back. I looked up her name and clinic and was unable to find anything on Google, so I ran her phone number. We figured it out pretty quickly that it was a telemarketer from ZocDoc. Very frustrating that ZocDoc resorts to this type of marketing.

Just had the same number from NY call me. Name is Michelle asking to refer auto body work to my shop in Florida? I guess she is in more than the doc business haha. Anyone know what the scam might be?

Jusy listened to a voice mail left from "Michelle" to call her for auto body referals. Like I would want a referal from New York!!

Same lady just called, Michelle. Just asked to leave her phone with our body shop owner and have him call her back. Yeah, right. Hastag whatdoyouthinkimstupid

"Felix" shows up on the caller ID- He has Pest Control referrals for our company. Dumped him in a voice mail that I intend to delete later. They are just wasting their breath

Called again, let them know they that we are not interested and hung up called right back and someone else and had the nerve to ask her what I was not interested in???? Wasting our time.

Got a call from Jackson saying he wanted to refer physical therapy clients to me and currently uses Accent and Select Physical Therapy. Asked for me to call him back. New York number.

Trying to find out if we have availability next week for extra work...asked if we can use more work they can send it.
