I never picked up since I didn't have anyone from New York as a friend so I think it's a wrong number.

I missed the call, they didn't leave a message. Called them back and the number could not be reached. Caller ID came up as V32818402200010

Got a call from this number a few minutes ago.  No one was on the other line.  I tried calling it back and apparently the number is not in service.  Going to file a report on the Do Not Call website.

If you don't recognize the name or number, don't answer the phone. Period.

3.30.2012 - got a call from this #  212-888-3150.  Caller ID said "Lightfoot, Captain".  I did not answer, caller did not leave a message when voice mail system picked up.  SPAM.

Recording about free security system in exchange for permission to place small sign in yard. I hung up after about 20 seconds.

Name said "Unknown name" on caller ID.  Listened for about 20 seconds, there was no voice, then I heard a click and then the dial tone.

Have gotten calls from above number. Phone rang one time then to answering machine. They left no message. When called number back within one minute of call from them, it states "we're sorry this number has been disconnected, no longer in service...." We are contacting the do not call also.

Just got a call from this number.  I have been reporting EVERY single number of spam to the do not call list/file a complaint.
Seems there has been a lot LESS lately.  It was pretty bad for awhile there!  
Please file a Complaint onLine for every telemarketer that calls you so we can get rid of these people and stop them from bothering us in our own home!

I got a call from this #. I picked up because I have children in NYC. Recorded message began "The FBI has reported a break in your area." I hung up. I worked for the FBI and know thet don't report break ins. I worked for the Fbi and know they only work with crime statistics not every break in. Be very careful w/ this # because it is a scam

Received a call at 8:00 PM.  Recorded message about leaving a sign in the yard.  Pressed "1" to talk to a live rep named "William."  When I asked him what prior relationship I had with the company that allowed him to call me, he hung up.

Called & let phone ring 3 times & hung up.
Reporting caller, I'm on the do not call list.

People DO NOT report calls to the DO NOT CALL Registery once I STOPPED doing that  the number of unwanted calls  dropped way back. I don't get hardly any calls anymore besides I DO NOT answer any call from a number I DO NOT recognize if a person wants to talk to me they will leave a message and then I will call that person back! The DO NOT CALL registery is a joke they do nothing to stop the calls !

Called and I want it put on the do not call list.

They wanted to give me a "FREE" home security system. I clicked '1' and spoke with Kendel.
He said he represented General Electric. When I complained about being on the "Do Not Call"
registry, he said I could look at the GE web site to file a complaint.

I would give 10,000,000,000 to 1 odds that they are not representing GE.

Total Scam.

Moronic telespammer calling to tell me they would do a "free" alarm system.

The alarm system may be "free" but their monitoring costs are more than double what most local companies charge here in my area - and you have to sign a contract with these guys.  They also require that you give them access to directly debit your account for their monthly fees AND if you drop their service before the contract runs out, you have to pay them a set amount for the cost of the system.

Overall a bad deal for the consumer, since in my research, the same or better service can be had for much less money - and with fewer "gotcha" costs - locally with reputable dealers.

Besides, who would really use an alarm company that would call you from a number that when you call it back comes up as NON-WORKING or DISCONNECTED?  

It's a BAD deal.

I keep getting this stupid phone call from this number that can't be called back or located, how do I get it to stop calling my house?

Just received a call from this number.  Caller ID said New York, New York.  It rang three times and they hung up.

Received a call from 218-888-3150, Lightfoot, Capit.  Was not home and no message was left on voicemail.  Not interested in having them call back!
