- Cindi| 9 repliesThis loser scamming company called from 949-210-9863. I waited for a live person and asked for the company name. I was told that information isn't given out. I told them to remove my number immediately and that I am on the Do No Call List (which is USELESS!). I told them to never call this number again. As I was saying this, the guy, with an accent, is saying over and over again "Shut up! Shut up!" I hung up. Immediately another call comes in showing "+1 (252) 3 NC, USA" shows up on my caller ID. I connected the call, but didn't say anything. The same guy says "See. I can call you anytime I want. You can't do anything about it." And, then 4 more calls, the last of which was from 212-908-9999. All of which I declined. This is ridiculous!!

- Annoyed replies to Cindi| 2 repliesI'm registering a complaint against 212-908-9999 on the Federal Do Not Call registry. If only the FTC would offer a bounty on these guys...perhaps 50% of any fine that they charge them?... I'm sure that they could be tracked down. Why doesn't the NSA or CIA give the FTC their tracing software which doesn't trace the spoofed number but will get at the actual number. Mucho $$$'s could be collected.
- Annoyed| 2 repliesI've submitted a complaint against 212-908-9999 on the Federal Do Not Call registry. It's easy:

The more complaints against a number, the higher the fine will be if/when the FTC FINALLY gets around
to tracking these guys down.- Caller: New York

- FINE these losers...| 4 repliesReceived a call from the number 212-908-9999 around 1930hrs EST tonight. Some idiot on the other line trying to speak to me in an accent so heavy that I don't even think google could translate it into English. Registered a complaint on the donotcall site about this. Seriously wish they would make laws to punish these idiots and actually enforce these laws on these losers. I also want to thank Obama for allowing more telemarkers and idiots to our mobile phones because less and less people own land lines. Such a way to punish us for wanting to use technology and not get hounded by these idiots who can't hold a real job that doesn't revolve around spamming and scamming people.

- ABZ replies to BlockThisNumberPfishing scam - claimed my Bank of America debit card was locked. After a few prompts, all I had to do was enter my 16 digit number and security pin to unlock. Needless to say, I did not, but was hoping to get more information to report to police.
If you ever get a call like this, HANG UP and call the toll-free number on the back of your card. That is the only way to ensure that you are not being scammed. - Patricia WelchCalls constantly .... Very rude....will not say who they are

- Don't Harass them back replies to LadyThey will unleash vengeance on you. Trust me.
- Tamianth replies to LadyConsider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

To file complaints on Foreign company's:
eConsumer.gov: Report Your Complaint
E-mail: econsumerwb@ftc.gov - Burlco48The FCC no longer takes complaints regarding the phone scammers who robodial your number and leave no message. Worse yet, some states such as NJ, no longer take complaints about DNC violations and the roboscum know that thus our legislators have given them a blessing to continue annoying us. And then to make it even worse, the phone provider profits by providing service to the scammers and won’t shut them down as it would be lost income for them. They know the robosum are out there just by monitoring the bandwidth they utilize. And the phone provider’s even make additional money (in opening new services) by switching the roboscum’s outgoing lines so a complaint about any particular number would be meaningless once they feel it’s time to run and hide once more. So it’s time to fight back – contact your provider to ask to make your number a toll number for incoming calls from out of the area so when robocallers attack your privacy then they must pay you for your valuable time. Contact your legislators to stop the robocallers – send them a complaint every time you get a call. Tell them to stop the scumbags or you will elect someone who will! And why not sue the phone providers for their inaction to pull the plug on the scum as well? A great class action suit awaits a great attorney team on this one. The worse part of this whole mess is that the phone companies continue to profit from your life being interrupted. I use a Panasonic KX-TG6844 phone that can block 250 numbers. The cost of $111 pays for itself if you use Verizon’s Call Intercept service (a $9.99 per month ransom plus federal and local taxes) in a year and you can drop the Verizon intercept service.

- MichiganderI just got a call from this number. It's almost midnight. I was in bed and didn't reach the phone in time.
Scared me as my son is out of town. Thought something may have happened. I didn't recognize the number
& they didn't leave a message so I checked this site. Glad I did. I'll know not to answer it. Thanks - Sheri PagelThis was an automated call. The recording said my debit card had been locked for my safety and to unlock it, please enter my 16 digit debit card number. I tried to get to an operator, but it would only let me enter numbers. I hung up and tried to call back. When I did, I received a message stating the number was no longer in service. SCAM!!!
- Annette KingI went to the Federal No Call website and it would not take my complaint as the number has not been in use for more that 6 months. When I answered the phone, no one was on the other end and when I checked the phone had been hung up.
- RoseSo, there's nothing that can be done about these nut cases? My Dad is in the hospital, my Mom is in rehab, and getting these constant calls has been horrible. I have to resort to taking my landline phone off the hook and letting voice mail pick up, then can check the voice mail to see if anyone from the hospital or rehab place called. It's a nightmare.
- Caller: New York Call
- KyleeThey called late at night. Scared me. I missed the call and tried to call back but said number was out of service. At first I thought an acquaintance was trying to harass me with a spoofed number but then I found this site. I'm reporting them. What telemarketers call after 10?!? Scammers!
