Hung up when answering machine picked up, must be robocaller

Disconnected when machine came on.

"amber" the robot wants to survey me.  Does not identify organization or purpose of survey.  Launches into a survey right away...

all week I've been getting calls about government surveys,  the robo kind. This one was already going before I even picked up the phone.  It asked for me to choose 1 to 5. I pressed 6. It hung up. It was around 8:40 pm.
I don't care if they're not trying to sell me anything, it still worries me. Someone might just want to know when we are and are not at home.
Below I choose type as survey, but I'm doubtful.  

Strange, I've been getting a lot of calls from this number. They call at all times, sometimes one call right after the other because my Caller ID shows 2X. And, get this, they let it ring for as many as 8 rings.
The info shows "out of area" for a 212 call.

Constantly calls, day and night, hangs up whether or not I answer the phone.

This was an automated stastical record for questions regarding the New York City Police Department

spam survey call. do not answer

Stops call before ans. machine connects, without leaving any message. If one calls back, this no. is disconnected.

Called - left no message.

In just 2 days, I've gotten 3 or 4 calls from these people.  My answering machine picks up and they hang up.  Annoying.

Four calls today since 0805 am.....No msg when machine answers

called 2 times so far. when i called back it said number disabled very strange.

Scam artists - probably looking to see if you aren't home then rob you blind.

I blocked this caller (my 50 # limit is not enough) but they continue to phone: FOUR times since first posting earlier today.

called 3 times within a 3 hour period - picked up second and third time - and threatened the voice with bodily harm - apparently the person/persons who enjoy doing this is/are losers, morons, and a few choice other names -

I've gotten 4 or 5 calls from them over the past two days. They leave no message.

Too many calls from 212 918 9223. This stupid people do not stop. Can anyone cut this line, please?

Five calls so far today.  Got several yesterday.  Let them go to answering machine.  Assume they will give up eventually.
