was a call center, when i answered they hung up on me, but i heard all of the background chatter

This number calls our office everyday asking for the president of our company, but he wont give us any information on them, not a name of individual name of company or reason for calling.  I've called back and it sounds like a call center. but they're extremely annoying.

A man called from this number asking the name of the owner of our company. He gave me his name but did not want to tell me where he was calling from. He said he would call back if the owner was not available. I told him he would not be able to reach her by phone but I was her assistant and dealt with all company issues. He then said that's ok, I'll calll back, it's not an urgent matter.

Same deal with me.  May start to have fun with them.

Same thing just happened to me, except he knew our owner's first name. Wouldn't tell me why he was calling, provided no information. Obviously, I said the owner of our company wasn't available, so he said "no worries" and hung up.
