Called back and got message number is out of service. So caller is displaying fake phone number

Called back. Number is out of service.

Same, out of service. Called me at 9:27am pacific

It's just another telemarketer....  My Google Voice voicemail inbox transcribed the call from 212-987-6542 as follows:

"Hello. This is Sarah at Consumer Services, we're calling in reference to your current credit card accounts. There's no problems currently with your accounts. It is urgent, however, that you contact us immediately. Concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rates, press 1 now. Your eligibility expires today, consider this your final notice press one to be connected with a live operator."

Same telemarketer message as above. I get one or two of these a day. Today I decided to press 1 to talk to someone as there is no option to be removed from the list. The guy answers asking if I want to lower my interest. I said "No actually, I'm tired of receiving these phone calls". His response - "Bye Bye" and hung up on me!

I've received the same call from 503-902-8477, 503-468-5227, 864-000-8561 and 216-744-4009

Received a phone call with no one on the other end.  Then it beeped four times and took a screen shot of my phone.  At least it made the same noise as if I had taken a screen shot.  Then it hung up.  called back and number has been disconnected.

I got a call from this number, I asked to be taken off the list and the guy hung up, not even 20 seconds later the guy called back and started telling me to "go f**k my mother" and things like that.  I hung up and he called back again 10 seconds later and started doing it again.  The 2 times he called back he called from 1800-312-2236.   I don' know who these people are but I'm really annoyed that this guy did this.

Just got a call at 3:18pm EST from this number.  I ALWAYS ignore numbers I don't recognize and come here to check it out - so I thank all you previous posters.  No message left.

Me too!  I have tried speaking with them - and the moment you ask to be removed from their list - they hang up on you.  I have tried not so subtle conversation with them as well and they started cursing at me.  Just another scam...always remember, a reputable company will never ask you for any pertinent information over the phone...I work in finance; we see/hear of this crap all the time...

they want to see you a credit card... and the dude who picked up wasn't even in the US.

212-987-6542 called rang once and hung up.

Received a call this afternoon @ 12:31 PM today. Ignored the call and no voicemail message left.

Will be filing a complaint form on the FCC "Do Not Call" registry website. Not that anything will ever be done to curb these nuisance phone call scams from happening.

Repeatedly getting calls from this number and another so called toll free number of:
877-218-3219.

I am on the do not call list, is there nothing that can be done to stop this?

Received a call from this number 2:45 est. They caller said nothing . I blew a whistle into phone, then they hung up

Caller ID listed the caller as New York

called no message, caller if said v031613272600007

Doesn't help to file a complaint with the FCC. I've done so 3 times and each time, the FCC replies that the complaint is 'unfounded'.

They keep calling me, so I pressed 1 and ask them to take me off the call. I person from a indian call center answered and when he found i wasn't going to talk about the interest rates, he called me a mother F":>ker!!

This is a PHYSCHING SCAM. (Is that the way to spell physching?) When I answer the caller at this number, they try to avoid answering questions, and keep asking questions, trying to eventually get your credit card information. I have talked to them twice, and the last time I kept them on the phone about ten minutes, playing a little dumb, and asking them questions as answers to their questions. Eventually, they hung up on me, again... I have had the same experience as all of you when calling the number - the message states that the number is out of service.

I called T-Mobile several times, and there seems to be no way to get through their computer-question-robot with a request for blocking a caller, or reporting harassment... Thanks for nothing T-Mobile!!!    I know, all the so-called cell providers provide the same crummy, or non-existant service...
