reduce credict card for low interest rate. I dont have a credict card. they hung up tel. This person could spaek well.

recorded message claimed to be about my current credit card, said to press 1 to hear urgent info about lowering rate or press 9 to be removed from list.  I hung up.  I have been getting more and more of these calls from various area codes either claiming to be about a credit card or that I "won" soemthing or other.  I tried to report them to Verizon, they said there was nothing I or they could do other than change my number...*sigh*

They called and left no message. When I attempted to call back a few times it was busy.

Call was from "Sarah" advising something about a credit card.  I hung up as I believe it is a scam and have heard similar calls before.  Caller Id reports number as 212-987-6546 and Caller Id Name reports "Franco, Providen".  I have no idea who the company really is, if any.

Didn't leave a message.  Call records identify them as "Creditcard Scam" (all in caps), so that might give you some indication of who they are!!

Number came in from New York. I did not answer. They left no message. Busy signal upon call back.

did not leave message but caller ID said Franco, Providen.  If this is about lowering interest rates I have received this type of call before.  When he said he could lower the interest rates on my credit card.  I knew it was a scam and the only reason I answered was because they would call 3 times a day every day.  So, I said which one?  He could not tell me so I said all of them?  Wow.  Well, I then informed him that I am reporting this number to the FTC, and the Do Not Call list and hung up.  This is my first call today so I am sure I am in for numerous calls.  Oh and I told them to take me off their list and they said OK.  Ya, sure they will.....

just got a call from the number above.  Its busy when called back.  There is a donotcall registry on the govt fcc web page for cell phones.  It is a scam.

I am already on national.do.not.call. lists all phone numbers I own are. Yet daily, I get several calls from this and others close.

They just called me.  No answer when I called back.

Called and I rejected the call; I called back and received a message that the number was "no longer in service."

These calls are not from who they say they are. They are not telemarketers. They are scammers trying to get your current credit card number.  The FCC does not deal with that. Call the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) at 877-382-4357 to report the phone number these criminals called from. Or go to www.ftc.gov.

Yes that is what popped up on the caller i.d. when i got the call today. CREDIT CARD SCAM!
