I got a call from this number but no message was left on voice mail. I tried to call back three times  but got a busy signal. I do not know this number , do not call  me again.

Call from this number as well...well I called back got a busy signal.

Message says it's not recognized by New York University.

Answered and got an automated message. Claimed it had to do with eligibility of my credit card account. Hung up mid-message.

WARNING--BEWARE!!  These callers are   B I G   credit card criminal, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give your credit card number to these lowlifes, or you will regret it forever!

Number called, I answered listened to automated message telling me I was eligible for lower rates on my credit card ( that I don't have) and told me to press one to speak with a "live" representative.   F'ing Crock!

Just called.  I didn't take the call.  Caller didn't leave a message.

Asked for last 4 of social for verification to lower interest rates.  I said no and they hung up on me.  Scam for sure.  Don't give them any info.

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

Just got a call from these lowlifes... they did not leave msg. Glad i checked here. I wont call back. Jerks!

I just received a recorded call - no name of the caller or company's name - stating they are calling from "your credit card company" and that I am eligible to lower my interest rate to 6% or something if I press 1.  I hung up.  I do not believe this is any of my credit card companies calling as they always introduce themselves up front, and I do not respond anonymous calls like this - you never know who is calling and it is not worth it, likely some sort of a scam.

Got a call from this number, didnt recognize it, looked it up on google & found out number is a FRAUD!!!

Left no message.  CID not available on my cell. Call was placed at 11:26 AM PST.
From the previous complaints this caller should be liable for "Up to $1500 per call if this caller violated your rights."  You will need to document the calls.

There are several ways to file a complaint.  The FCC has a complaint website.  Also there are commercial providers.  For example; "http://www.privacystar.com/lookup/lookup/file.php" may be of help.

If enough of us take action this spammer may be put out of business.  Wishful thinking, huh!

Just had this # call me, & they left the scamming msg as described by others. It's STILL ALIVE & WELL as of Nov 17, 2014!!!

Called my cell phone.  No message left.
I don't answer calls from the 212 area code.
For the most part, those calls are scams or related to political campaigns.
Oops!  I'm being redundant!

Correction...  *202* is the source of a lot of scams and political campaign calls.  Still...  You get my point.  ;-)

This number called my husband's cell phone on 11/17/14 -- from the above it looks like they were very busy that day. They made him think it was one of OUR credit card companies calling about our account. He was at work so hung up on them, he didn't have the time for it. We'll both be blocking this number.
