Called and didn't leave a message. Believe this is just another one of the telephone numbers that the "breast cancer research fund / breast cancer financial aid " uses to solicit money

rang four times only

Unknown caller-  when I answered they just listened...

The phone rang. This number and the name BCFA appeared. I did not answer and the caller left no message on my machine. I haven't had one of these unknowns for at least a day now!!?? This occurs more often than not, but that is the price we pay for having telephone service of any kind these days..Or so it seems!?

Called and left no message. Blocking it now.

Claimed to be fund-raising for breast cancer research.  Never heard of them.  I asked if I'd ever given money to the organization, the woman said "no," and I asked why they were calling me.  Hung up.

Just got a call in Calif.  6:22pm, showed BCFA AS id and this # 213-226-7740. Didn't let it ring very long, no message.
I've blocked them.  I haven't given them any thing either.  Wish there was a way to stop ALL of THEM!  Thanks 2 all of you who had entered your info.  That's how I knew who it was and another scam.

After I answered my phone caller hung up.

Called and asked for the lady of the house.  When I said she was busy they hung up.  Caller ID showed BCFA.

I said "Hello" & after a few seconds a female voice sai "Well HELLO & nothing else when I asked "Who's Calling?"

They have been calling me for months with "unknown name" and it came up today as BCFA, a fraud of a charity.  I'll answer next time and if supposedly if you press #1 you're on the do not call list.

I have received several calls from this number always as "unknown name,  unknown number". This was the first time BCFA came up. This is a fraudulent "non-profit" group.  Don't be suckered by them!

Similar experience:  6-7pm California, caller ID'ed as "BCFA", left no msg.    Can anyone come up with a rather rude but nonetheless humorous answer for what the acronym BCFA stands for?!  --  come to think of it, all those letters could stand for obscenities that our dear 800notes moderator would not permit to be displayed!  ;-P
