213 255-4187 - was on my missed call list. Called it back, recorded female voice said something like "you've been pinged, for your own phone number for free texts and calls... etc...."

Received a call from this number on my cell. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.

Scammer or telemarketer. Usually the same. I'm on the do not call list. I reported them as I have been doing. If you are on the list you can report these calls on the governments do not call website.

It doesn't do any good to report them to the Do Not Call List. I have had a number calling me for about 4 years and I reported to the Do Not Call List at least a 100 times and there was nothing done about it and they are still calling me even at 2 am I know their number and I blow a whistle in the phone when they call but they still call. I turn my cell phone and house phone off at night when we go to bed. Both phone are on the do not call list. It wouldn't do any good to change our numbers as they use a computer to pull up numbers, my home phone is even not listed and they still got it.

Pressed a bunch of digits... probably trying to hack into the voicemail box.
