Me, too. They won't leave a message and I won't answer.

I'm getting calls from this number stating that they are searching for the person associated with a particular social security number.  This is very disturbing.

Same thing, searching for the person associated with social security number but did ask by my name

Recorded message. Said I had been "named a person of interest" in "an important matter" and to "contact this office" or "decions will be made without your knowledge". I'm guessing it's spam.

Called and said I was a person of interest ...and to press 1. Then I talked to a David Keith ...he had the last four of my ssn. I would not Tell them anything I asked for the guys name.. He said David Keith and that I owed some advance company money.. I told them to send it to me in writing. And hung up... Then I called back and asked for the same person so I could give them my mailing address... When I was connected I asked his name again and he said Darrick Harrison.....yea ok scam !

This Guy called and said I was person of interest. First, he said on a bad check in Texas. Then he said on a quick loan back in September of 2010. Then, he said on chase bank. I wouldn't give him any information I would just answer yes or no. Finally he said he was going to erase my phone number from the calling list. Yes do that  [***] cuz you ain't getting nothing from me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have received both the person of interest and the social security scam calls from this number: 213-261-0113.  The recordings asked me to call 800-801-9141.  How can these people continue to operate when they are using the telephone network to commit fraud?
