I got a call saying it was very important i call back man with strange voice "shawn Cater"

I got a call saying i was being sued for $300.00..... by advanced Cash...... A man with a very funny accent.. "Anthony Gary Novershult...

I told these [***] to kiss off I called them back and harrassed them because I am in the looney bin and they called me here. been here for the last ten years. have free acess to phone and called back one hundred and sixty two timews today. I am going to harrass theses lying azz [***] because they got me out of the libery in the crazy house to answer their call. No one on the boat with me lets keep calling them and harressing them until they learn to stop bugging us.

I got the same phone call today.  I contacted my attorney and he's going to deal with it.  This is a major scam. Don't fall for it.

I am sick and tired of these people calling because I attempted to get a loan that I decided I did not need.

This [***] called me that if I don't pay $800.00 right away that they will come in at my work to put me in jail.  The person on the other line was incoherent and with a Nigerian heavy accent.  These people should be executed and scamming Americans.  Why is the government letting this to happen and with so much regulation about everything and not doing anything about scams like this.  The phone number is a Majic jack number which you can't get any tracing.

Well what happened I just got a call from this dude

I got this same call this from a Troy Fleming also with a weird almost mechanical sounding voice saying that I have received a complaint against my name and social security number and that they needed my attorney information so they can send papers that he needs to file in court today 4/10/12. I was asked to call him back immediately. This was on my voicemail.

Any suggestions as what to do. I don't have the means to get an attorney for this.

Any response would be appreciated.

Bob, Just got the same call at work. blow it off. it is someone trying to get your info.  If they call back tell them that you have contacted your atty, and he wants you to record the conversation. See what they do, more than likely they will hang up  their number is 213-261-6451 repeat it back to them and again let them know your ATTY wants that as well so that he can call and start the harrassment suit against them if Federal Court...

I have been getting calls like this too and unfortunately fell for it one time.  My money went to a black hole - not to the loan I had.  I was told to report it to Homeland Security and Federal Trade Commission.  Our numbers and informaiton was obtained from an insecure website. Don't fall for it. I am calling back every day and asking for my $373 back and will continue to do so.

I Just received this same call to my job. When I called the number back the person with a strong accent answered asking my name i said Christina then i asked What kind of company is this you cant even tell me what this is about? He got upset an said are you stupid? Do you have a brain? an hung up. i was worried until i seen this website. Thanks

I keep getting this call today.  I can't explain how awful the scum suckers are.  They just don't quit.  They say that they are attorneys but in the background it sounds like people are screaming.  The guy is really hard to understand.  I just don't know what to do but I can't get them to quit calling me.  Ugh.  It's so frustrating when you try and try to do whats right and people take advantage of you.

They say that they will send an officer to your house to arrest you and throw you in jail.  They will also send a processor over to your house to serve you papers for court.  Such a scare tactic.  Just awful.

I just got called yesterday at work. I work for a public library, and the director got on the line and he harassed her too. He threatened to call the police and send them to my work. She told them to please do that. I told him since he obviously has my info, to send me the papers, to which he said that he couldn't send them to me since I am the criminal. I told him I don't have a criminal record, and if I'm being sued, they have to serve me for court. He left a message saying he's going to report this to the Social Security office and I will lose my social security number and my job. That's about the time I knew that he was on some B.S. You don't even lose your Social when you DIE. lol I'm calling my friend that is an attorney and see what she has to say. If they keep calling after you ask them to stop, I would contact my local police department. Their number is 213-261-6451 I got one saying the name was Consolidation Legal Services, and another saying they are called American Legal Services with the exact same number. I got called by what sounded like the same guy on the voicemails I've saved (I've saved and documented EVERYTHING) and one says his name is Troy Fleming, and the other says his name is Kevin Black. I would document everything and call the police department if you don't have access to an attorney. And let them know that you are doing just that. I'm angry that he keeps calling me at work...THAT is harassment for sure!

Oh, almost forgot, at the end of two of the messages, the guy says, and may God help you. I kinda took that as a threat...who says that? May God help you? That sounds pretty agressive to me, I'm just saying. I'll post on here and say what my attorney says about it.

I got a call from the above # saying it was important that I call back immediately and/or suffer the consequences!!!   He listed his name as Troy.  I did not call back and I am in the process of calling my cell phone provider regarding this call.

I would just say block the number. It is worth it... SCAMMMM BIG TIME

dont worry about it. they called me as well. it is a scam!!!the only thing i can say is block the number or tell them to shove it. i knw its a scam because i told him to shove it & he replied w/ suck my d***.

WTF Shawn carter they just called me with that mechanical sounding voice!!! Im glad I googled their number because everytime I called back they would hang up.

total scam, I reported them to the ic3 hopefully they take it seriously and put these guys in jail.
