Phony U.S. Treasury call. Very threatening computerized voice saying,
This is Officer Judy Smith from the Department of U.S. Treasury. This is your official final notice that a case has been filed against your name concerning a petition to serve a tax. Be sure to call 213-270-1985 before you get arrested.

This kind of outrageous cr*p needs to be shut down by the telephone companies! Why must we endure such harassment?! Hope these frauds are caught and jailed! Do not appreciate this kind of harassment, especially at 8:11 a.m. when trying to sleep due to illness!

I also got a robocall from Judy Smith of the Treasury Dept regarding "tax fraud charges" being filed against me. It asked me to call 213-270-1985 before the "case was sent to federal court" or I was arrested.

Yes received this same recording today.  Phone shows that the call is out of Los Angeles.  Has to be a scam.

same message for me.  It's silly that we all know that it's a scam,  and yet, my heart beats just a little faster while listening to the message.  It's just wrong!

Same as the rest, "IDENTICAL MESSAGE". I called the number back, the individual on the other end of the line repeated the same verbage as the message on my answer machine.  Would not speak off script, he would get flustered and start over if I enterupted him.  I hope they get caught, things are stressful enough these days without these types of people.

i got the same message called back some guy on the phone . How can we stop this !!!? i was so nervous

this was very disturbing we were extremly upset thinking we could be arrested for something  we had no idea what it was !!!
