Woman called for person working overseas.  Call center background sounds heavy accent.

Very rude person calling. Asked for a specific individual and when I refused to put her through (that individual no longer has an office here) she raged and slammed the receiver down. Call center. Not an accend. Caller ID showed:

213-289-5518 - Called my Cell phone number over 8 times just in the last 4 days. I was able to answer it this time, and it was a woman with a VERY heavy Middle Eastern accent. The call clearly came from a Call Center (Monkey with Scripts) as there was a LOT of background voices and noise, and I could hear various people in the background repeating the EXACT same "script" that she just said to me. She asked for me by my first two initials and my last name, which is always a dead giveaway that it's a SCAM. When I asked who was calling, she once again for me by my name. So, once again, I stated "May I please ask who is calling?" and then she proceeded to hang up on me. Seriously? This is how your company does business? Have no clue who they are, or what they want, but I will be reporting the call as Harassment, as this is not the first time they've called. They also clearly offer no Opt-out as well, as my Cell number is and has been on the DNC list since the beginning, and I don't use my initials for my name with Legitimate companies that I deal with.

Just received a call and when I answered they hung right up.

Man called no accent heavy background call center sounds.  He asked for overseas employee so I sent him to the employee's old Admin Asst she can tell them off.

Didn't answer this call on my work phone. No voicemail left. After reading these reports, I'm glad I didn't answer.

Found this number on my missed calls list at about 1530 hours 12 Dec 2011.  ID listed as CONTACT CENTER.

This is just downright harassment. Call frequently and never say a word or hang up. Will someone please shut them down!

Called me. I answered. "Hello?" Nothing. Hung up. Tried calling back. "Disconnected or out of service."

Have called several times and hang up if I answer, leave no message if I don't.  Sounds like they are annoying a lot of office workers.

This was a magazine subscription call center.  Series of questions about my career position details in relation to their renewal of a GCS (Government Computer News) magazine subscription.

I constantly got called from this number and left no messages.

Calls have been coming once a day for a week or so.  Caller hangs up when I answer.  Just received another call so I picked it up and hung up first.

when the phone is picked up, nobody on the other end says anything. Totally silent. Making money this way? or is it a trick to fool people?
