this stupid number called me twice between 3 AM and 4 AM.

whenever i pick up the phone its just a bunch of beeps

i am pretty sure its a fax machine.

i got the same phone call during the same hours EST but i live in nyc.

I got the same phone call twice between 3-3:30 AM too!

We are a property management company in illinois. a woman spoke little english called us today from this number.  she asked over and over again if we were planning on moving our company.  i'd say no, she'd ask if i was sure.  she said she was calling from the state office, i asked what state and she said illinois.  the number is from california.

They keep calling.  When I answer, no one is there.

I have this number on my caller ID 213-291-1900 and not sure who they are as they did not leave a vm.

Received 4 calls 8/5/07 between 1:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Three were one-ring fax calls (we do not have a fax machine) that came up caller unknown, the fourth, a fax call was 213-291-1900. Called the number to hear a Verizon recorded message: the number had been "changed, discontinued or is no longer in service."  Right...

For about 3 years now i have been receiving phone calls at all times of the day.  Several times they have come from 213-291-1900, sometimes its from a different number sometimes it just says unknown.  Most of the time it calls several times within a few minutes of each call.  The number calls my cell phone, which is with Verizon...i have contacted them about the issue and they said the only thing they can do is change my number.  I have also attempted on several occasions to track one of the numbers that calls me occasionally and the phone company stated it was a dead number that hasnt been used for years.  One of these days im gonna try to hook my cell phone to a fax machine and see what they are trying to send.

They just called us here and also asked if we were moving.  Said they were from the office of development for Hillsborough Twp.  I wonder why they are confirming our address. WTF is that all about.

I also received a call from the same number less than a half hour ago. Didn't answer it (I figure if I don't recognize the number, I don't answer it, & they can just leave a voice mail). However, they didn't (leave one). Area code 213 is a CA area code; I'm in upstate NY . . .

I just got a call from this number, but when I tried to call it back, i get the message that it has been disconnected...etc..

I got several calls from 213-291-1900 as well...it was trying to send a fax to my phone.

i've gotten a handful of calls from this number in the past few days. I called it back and got a tri-tone (meaning it's out of service or something). Very weird. I've never been awake to answer it.

i got called at 1:30 am by 1-213-291-1900.  when i try to return the call druing normla hours i get the message the subscriber you have called is not recieving calls at this time.

This number keeps calling us, its just a bunch of beeps.

Called bout 4 am, was a hang up after answering.

Called me too! twice between 3 and 4 AM!

Multiple calls, one at 4:51am EDT and one at 9:53am EDT, followed shortly by another call from "Unknown Number" with same fax waiting tone as earlier identified calls.

Just recv. call at 4:AM just sounds like a fax, I live in Cols, Ohio
