Thank God I saw this message! The person with this number is trying to make a deal with me right now to buy my motorcycle and have it shipped to them after I get a cashiers check. I knew it was a scam.

Thank you for posting this as they text  me at midnight last night wanting to purchase my item.

This number sent me a text me about an item I had on Craigslist. I knew it was a scam because they wrote general information that could have applied to anything. Don't become a victim, don't send them your information.

This number contacted us via text message about a motor we listed on Craigslist. They wanted to send us a check for $2000 over the price so we could give it to the "shipping company" that would pick it up. Luckily, I read this first! Too bad he can't get pinned for this stuff. That could have been a disaster!

I feel so dumb right now because that same number contacted me but all i gave them was a name and home address (and my number of course). Can any serious harm come from the information I have given them?

I just got a text from this guy about tickets to a concert I was selling on craigslist. Thank god I looked them up first. I knew there had to be something sketchy with this guy seeing as if he immediately wanted to buy tickets to a show in Georgia, when the area code to that number is from California and he didn't even ask to see if the tickets were legit.
