answered phone and caller hung up.  called back with no trace and recording says number is not in service.  Looked up on phone reverse and cannot find number.  checked area code and is a Los Angeles area code.  what gives here?

they keep calling...what kind of business is this from?

Answered but no one was there - I don't know anyone in Los Angeles

Got a call, no one there. 7:42p.m. Called back, recording saying could not complete call as dialed.

Received call, did not answer, caller hung up upon hearing answering machine.

Answered phone, caller hung up 8:20 P.M. East coast time

Have received calls repeatedly from this phone number.  When I answer, I get hung up on, or no message is left by caller.  When I tried calling the number back, I received what sounded like a standard recording by a pleasant voice telling me the number was no longer in service and to check the number and call again.  Annoying. Have not been able to discover who this caller is.

Such calls are only a minor nuisance.  If Caller ID does not show me a friend's name, I let the answering machine handle it - 4 ringy dingies, and they never  leave a message.  If they repeat the call, and I remember the number, I pick up and then hangup immediately.  End of story - no big deal.

Keep getting calls and when I answer they hang up. I don't know anyone in los angelus.

Several calls from 213-323-6857 daily 4PM MDT. No one answer dead air then dial tone after a short time.

Same routine.  I called the number, 1-213-323-6857, that after the bugle tone, the operator said the number was disconnected.  Obviously an illegal call using a bogus phone number.  Hope they like my answering machine message!

call about dish tv or cable tv. they are offering some kind of deal. the girl sounded white and spoke perfect english. she came across very polite as well.

Have been calling for days.  No one there, can't call # back because out of service?

I got a call from 213-323-6857 & when I answered, they hung up. I could hear noise in the background, so I know someone was there.  I've decided that if they call back, I'm going to answer the phone screaming as loud as I can. HA!

And I think I may have to change my answering machine message to what "Corky-G" said!  :)

i just got a call from the same number and they hung up also i tried to search it also but they said no number was found    whose the number belong to how can i stop all calls like this

It is Dish Network wanting to sell you satellite service (or at least was on 10/26/2011 at 7:35pm) and wanting to know how much I pay for Suddenlink cable as VIP.  Caller ID shows up as CALIFORNIA CALL

My call was much more specific.They left a message concerning a contract I had with their company for property I recently purchase in Myrtle Beach S,C, This girl left me an e-mail address and phone: jennifer.mason@wyn.com and an Orlando  phone# 407-626-6567. I wish I had purchased this property. I'm sure if I called, they would try some identity fishing. Maybe I should waste their time and feed them bogus information.
