Called, left no message.  I called the number back and the recording said human resourses, all representatives are busy, please hold.  I was then transferred to a recording giving out hours of operation.  The lady in the recording had a very bad imitation English accent.  I do have my resume out on the WEB so I am assuming that my number was found by this telemarketer attempting to sell me a load of crap.

Finally got in touch with these folks.  It turns out that they are supposed to be a third party verification service that companies use to verify information people put on their reseme.  Whether or not this is the case or not I don't know. They did reference a company to which I did apply in the past.

someone called to say they wanted to verify my employment for a positon that I applied for. I told the person identified as Ty that I would call right back. He gave me a ref# When I did try to call back I was told that "all circuits were busy" I called back again and got through only to listen to musak for 10 min and then nothing. I finally hung up the phone. I tried calling back and still received that all circuits were busy.

    Frustrated
I received a voice mail from a "Julie" at this company saying that my resume from the web was a good candidate for a job.  I was asked to call her back.  She did leave a number and her name.  Unfortunately, I have not been able to get through to her.  The lines have been busy.

Someone from this number has called me a couple of times but never leaves a message.  I'm glad I read comments on this website first and didn't waste any time calling the number back.

I received a call from 213-325-3204 stating they were calling in reference to a position with Pepsico as a Sr. Accountant.  I did not apply for a position with the company nor do I have a degree in accounting.

I got a message from "Jordan" last night stating that she has reviewed my application and resume and that I appeared to be a prime candidate for the job.  She left the number and said to call her back and i have tried like 5 times and everytime it was the same thing-- I call, Hear nothing for about 2 whole minutes then it goes straight to a busy tone.  This is the the third time someone has done this, needless to say, I'm pretty pissed. These people suck, I'm looking for a job and all they wanna do is play around.

Claimed that I requested info about an online job. This is true as I fill out online surveys. However when she mentioned something about the government I hung up.

Questionable email and website - website should be blocked from receiving personal data

    213 325-3204--are the two related??

This number has been appearing on my caller i.d for the last two days.  I missed both calls yet no one left a message.  Furthermore, an email was sent to me from the above link requesting that I verify my contact information, which I failed to comply with since I thought it was kind of unusual.  Thus, I think the call from this foreign number is a follow-up punishment for applying for the $15/hr Customer Service position advertised on CareerBuilder.com.  They are are obviously soliciting information online (scammers) and preying on people in need of a job (predators)!

I just received a call from this number - I applied for the job almost a year ago - since I didn't recognize the number I didn't answer and then I did a search on it which led me to here. Glad this site exists.

I didn't answer the phone when I didn't recognize the number. The message was in regards to a position I applied to (a company located in Boca Raton, Florida) and gave me a ref # to use when I call back. An internet search shows it's in LA.

I recieved a professional looking e-mail about a TJ Max corporate position that had nothing to do with my background and was not listed on the company website. I went ahead an applied cautiously. Then I recieved a follow up e-mail, which I decided not to respond to any of the questions. Then this guy called and left a message about the position and an extension. I called back and it seems bogus since automated answering service and no live person.

Responded to an ad in LA Times from powerjobapp.com which lead me to CSJ site. There I was told to complete three offers and they would bring me back to CSJ for the application.  After wasting my time (1 hour) with the offers I was not brought to an application. I received an e-mail from them later and then was brought to a sight offering help getting a job on CD (1 free <plus shipping> the other 2 for a fee). I reported this to the LA Times. Now I'm getting these calls from 213-325-3204.

Over the last 2 weeks I've noticed 2 other sites that are offering opportunities and not jobs when I am still looking for work.

I was out of town when the call came from this number.  I don't know how they got it because it is a private, non-published number that I do not put on my resume.  My resume has my cell number on it.  I am wondering if it is not an auto dialer
