Call from this number today.  Caller ID said Myako Inn Spa.  Some recorded message.  I hope their spa deal included airfare because I'm no where near Los Angeles....

Too bad I missed it as I sit around all day waitng for calls from UNKNOWN NAME.

Received a call today - caller ID said Miyako Inn Spa - caller identified herself as Rachel Ward - said they had made a "sample" website for our company and would like an email address to send the link to and then would contact us later to see what we thought.  Caller had a definite "Canadian" or northern US accent.  I explained that we have just activated a website within the last six months and she was very polite and thanked me for my time.

This # literally calls my home 3-4 times a week and as soon as I answer they hang up. So over it

What? .. I don't even...  What?

The CID shows as Miyako Inn Spa.  I called back, -really- not wanting to, and a woman answers as Jessica from Linked In Media.  Or whatever.  Doesn't really matter, since something is already fishy and I am pretty sure they are having an identity crises.  Hey, I get them time to time, ya know?  We all do.. but you don't see me going around making random calls pretending I'm someone else.  That's not my brand of crazy.

I guess the food coma I am currently battling forced me to hang up on Jessica.  No offense, Jess, just couldn't manage without laughing.

Caller ID says "Out of Area"

After a long delay, the woman asked for a company representative by name.  She claimed to be from Link Now Media and they want to build us a web site.  Apparently, the last three calls they made here saying we weren't interested didn't get thru their thick skulls.  You can go to sites.google.com and build your own for free.  

From Linknow Media, asked of owner of company and then hung up.

Spam call from Linknow Media, called back and told them not to call again.

Hello - don't pretend you're on best terms with the boss -- but you won't even say who you are calling.   I googled you, and you would have ended up talking to me anyway relating to advertisting/website etc.  Get a life, get a real job where someone would actually appreciate you and have respect for you!    So long sweetie...

Who buys stuff over the phone  sight unseen its ridiculous no one should only scammers use telemarketing

Young chicks without college educations, I hope, resorting to dialing for dollars.  Calling my company asking for the owner owner. Duh, owners don't make such menial decisions such as marketing, First clue it's not legitimate. Telemarketing bottom feeders.

Getting lots of calls.

Received a call this morning. They didn't leave a message. I called back, she said she was with Link Now Media and asked if I was returning the phone call and if I was the owner of the company. I just asked that they stop calling and she said "no problem."

The spoofed the caller ID to say Miyako Inn Spa.  Offered to show me a website they built for me.  Wanted my email address.  Not going to work next they try to call me.

When they called today, and I answered the phone, they just hung up the phone.

This has happened on more than one occasion - it's very annoying in the workplace.

it just never ends. I pay $95 a month for phone service and I cannot answer my phone. $10 of that $99 is for caller ID which is helpful but provides no way to block calls when using Verizon voice mail services...  What is confusing to me (joking)  is why telemarketers hang up when someone answers - doesn't it defeat the purpose of calling ?

Ruth, your comments are being directed at us, the same people *also* receiving these calls.  The callers don't check out these info. sites to see who they are upsetting and to get advice about finding a job.  You are reprimanding us

Received a phone call from this number to my cell phone. Luckily I never answer my cell phone. They didn't leave a voice mail.

Up here, in the "Great White North", I get many calls from odd area codes.  With call display, I never answer numbers I don't recognize or are nameless.  I have kept a log of all the numbers that have come into my phone since "Ma Bell (Canada)" began offering number display.  It was a while before they offered name display, which I signed up for, but people who block their number or have had Bell list their number as "unknown" doesn't help.  I blocked my number, then called one of Bells' competitors, and the conversation went like this:  "Thank you for calling Rogers Communication, please confirm your number is xxx-xxx-xxxx."  WTF!!!  How did they unblock my number?  I called Bell and they said they didn't know, ... maybe I didn't do it right.  D'uh!  Star 67, wait for the beeps, dial the number!!  I told the girl:  You are the inventors of the telephone and your competition is steps ahead of you!!  I want whatever Rogers has to unblock numbers!!!!  Kinda got off topic, sorry!
