They called my unlisted phone number trying to contact My ex-husband whom I have had No association to or contact with for over 5 years. I assume to collect a debt? Hung up on me & would not answer any questions.

I called back & their "supervisor" said it was a courtesy call concerning legal issue out of state?

This people  intimate you , and still  your money

They called using "John Smith" as the contact name for the 4 different people I spoke with and began yelling at me when I informed them that it is illegal to telephonically harass people under false pretenses. They then began ranting about federal charges yet claim to be a collection service hired to offer settlements to customers who have accounts in collections. They went on to change their story to claim they were a law firm and then the ADA, yet when I informed them I was calling the DA to file a complaint "John Smith" Cursed at me, threatened my job and  hung up.

This caller from 213 area code has been harassing me and members of my family.Threatening court appearances and  looking to intimidate us.Can't this be stopped.

How do I get these calls to stop? It's been going on forever

these people keep calling everyone in my family saying they have a posssible claim against me but yet do not call me directly or haven't sent anything

a "Christine" said that she was part of a document delivery service.  She wouldn't disclose for what company or any other information.  I told her that I don't give information of any type out to people who I don't know and can't research.  She got snippy.  The call was referencing someone I know but since I know that she was lying I told her to remove my number and not call again.

I assume to collect a debt? How in the hell did they get my name has changed and my number it has changes several times since I got rid of him. The wouldn't answer my questions.

This number won't stop calling me. They don't leave voicemails or anything. I just don't pick up but they literally call on a daily.
