    Caller said she was from DL Home Design. I asked for their contractors license number. She dodged that by saying they had one and kept talking rapidly. I kept asking for the number. Eventually she asked if I thought she was stupid but I politely didn't answer that. She kept talking over me and I kept asking for the number over her talking until she gave up.

    Same # as yesterday. Wanted to do some remodeling work. I asked for the contractor's license #. He said if they gave out that number they could get sued (which is true, see http://www.impactdialing.com/2012/05/how-to-sue-a-telemarketer/ ). I said if they stopped calling people on the FTC Do Not Call Registry, they wouldn't have to worry about that. That was his cue to end the call.
