Said I have a Judgment against Me WTF...

They also called me.. Robert Zaines.  They also use 3235215032.  This is a scam!  No other way around it.  The number is also related to a car loan website which I have never even visited.  I left them a message that I would be coming after them with my legal team if I received another call from the number.  Then they called from a different number.  SCAM!!!!

I rec'd a call from an Alan Bates or Bacon (could not understand) & he said he was calling from the Dept of Legal Affairs & this was a verbal notification of a imposed action against me. Not calling back might result in a legal mess for me. I could barely understand him & then to close, he said & may God bless! I worked in a call center before & they would usually say stuff like that- may God bless.

Don't bother calling back.

This is a scam to extort money from you.  "Verbal notification" is a meaningless comment.  WRITTEN documentation is needed IF you really had a problem.  This is a call from a scammer who is probably in India or Pakistan.

Also just received a vm from "Jack Miller" with a heavy, virutally non-understandable accent.  He said he was calling from the Dept of Legal Affairs & this was a verbal notification of a imposed action against me. Not calling back might result in a legal mess for me. I could barely understand him and had to listen to the vm several times.

They called me said they were the us treasury dept. It was a guy from India. Its a scam said I needed to talk to Anthony Cooper

A Robert James called and left a message. I called back the ph.# and heard a message from Anthony Cooper with US Treasury then i called back and spoke to Adam Jones he said they were a US Treasury official. Told me I had a fowl-up with my taxes in 2009 then they said 2011. I had to send the money immediately or a warrant for my arrest would be issued and I would be arrested at my door within an hour for 6 months. They told me to go and get cash from my bank and then got a Winn Dixie and get a pay voucher then call back and they would give me more infor to send the money. I started to ask lots of questions they began to stumble and get angry. they finally hung up after i had them on the phone for 45 minutes. I called them back and told them I had talked to the real US Treasury in DC they immediately hung up.

Someone just called threatening me about not paying taxes. I don't owe any taxes. I'm pretty sure it's a scam, cause when I called back, you could tell it was a personal call.

I was working as a loss prevention officer at a local retail store when a woman came in rather frantic asking about Green Dot Money cards. She was about to send her hard earned money [over $1,000.00] to this ... clown ... who said he was from the US Treasury and had a  arrest warrant for this woman and her husband for unpaid taxes. She said that he was on the phone with her as she was in the store telling her what to do. I assured her that this was not protocol and that it was a scam. I asked if I could talk to him: Asked him the name of his burgh Chief's name and number, asked for the case/docket/ IBR number of her arrest warrant. Asked him for the federal code that has been violated that generated the action, asked him to give me the number of the local IRS or Treasury department number in our area. He asked me who I was, I answered an Economic Crimes/ Loss Prevention Detective. "Hello, ... Hello??? He hung up.

they called 2X this morning, when i called back, the message was that the number was not in service, please dial again?!?!  WTF!!  thanks for all the heads-up above!

Said they were from the US Treasury and that I owed back taxes.  When I told them they were full of [***] that I have always filed my taxes and that I have always got a refund never owed anything they hung up on me. Then 15 minutes later they called back with the same message that I had to return their call to avoid further legal action being taken against me.  So once again I called and said that if they called me one more time I would report them to the US Treasury and the IRS for illegally portraying themselves as a government official, and they hung up on me again.  Then 15 minutes later they did it again, but this time I let it go to voicemail so I had the recording.  I am going to investigate and report them.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

called and left a message ,  if i did not call back soon IRS came and arrest me for tax defaulted. it is scam but i called back guy answered  talked American access. # 201-401-2830 from California. Do not call back these GUYS.

They wanted payment RIGHT NOW OR POLICE WERE COMING TO LOCK ME UP

I called them back, each time they answered with a different name.

Very difficult to understand person with Indian accent claiming legal action, warning I might be pulled in front of a magistrate, grand jury, federal court, God (you get the picture) for some totally unintelligible reason.  But they want to help me . . . Right. I blocked the number.

Rec'd same call 3X from almost unintelligible "Anthony Cooper" ... Legal Dept of US Treasury .. legal action.... etc.  He couldn't answer any of my questions and eventually hung up.  big time scam!

When I returned the call to this number and told them to stop harassing me the guy in broken English told me I was harassing him and called me an idiot.  He then "blocked" my number.  Win win.

I received a call from 213-401-2830  telling me I have a warrant for tax evasion.  It was a nasty tempered Indian man and he wanted my personal info.  I refused and he told me federal  officers were coming to my house in 45 min to arrest me.  WTF I pay my taxes what a crazy call.  

Got a message on my answering machine (actually half a message since he wasn't bright enough to wait until my message stopped playing).  Blah blah, legal action, blah blah blah do not ignore this call, blah blah blah, help us to help you.  If he calls back again, I'm going to tell him to hold on a second so I can get my phone set up to record our important conversation. Too bad these a$$%)&^% don't use their powers for good instead of evil.  

Received a robocall telling me to call 213-401-2830 to avoid legal action that will be taken against me by the Treasury Dept. The tip-off on this is the robocall starts with "This call is meant to reach you." Never addressed anyone in the household.  Unfortunately, there are enough completely stupid people out there who will believe these [***] and will actually send them money. Don't you think if the IRS is dinging you for missed taxes that they'd send you a LETTER?
