No message but from a business

It's a telemarketer. They call but dont say anything. I called it back. I would love to know how these people get my number but they never tell me.

this is a company called grants for citizens.......they get your number from certain companies who swear they dont release information you disclose to them.......usually from an email you've opened or responded too.  hope this helps

Just got a call from this number on my work line. an unlisted/ do not call list registered number. it's starting to tick me off. they called I clicked on my bluetooth headset used my standard greeting "go ahead" and they hung up.

My boyfriend gets calls from this number also.  Here's what I told him:  If you don't want to get these kinds of calls, DO NOT enter your phone# online.  If they ask for one, LIE!  They get your # just like they get your email for spam.  I use the web everyday but I DO know the Internet is NOT SECURE.  Not safe for your SS#, phone#, name, address, DOB, city, state or your mother's maiden name, etc.  They also ask things like first pet, first grade teacher, high school.  Anything that can be linked to you, will be linked to you.  Trust that it's all gathered in a data base somewhere!  And, for a price, data all the people who do any one thing is sold.  For the purpose of SELLING you something. I get emails that say "We called the number given but it is the wrong one."  Use some common sense when giving out information about anything.  How do you think identity theft got started?

this company calls 3-4 times a day.  I am paying for the incoming calls on my cell phone and I have requested to be removed but they continue to call.  I wish there was a way to put these types out of business.  I don't include phone numbers on Internet and don't know how they get info, but this needs to be stopped.  Do not call registry is a joke, it has not stopped any of this telemarketing calls.

this company has called my unlisted number for over a month now really getting on my nerves now i work night and TRY to sleep during the day but they start calling as soon as i get home

This is the Second Call I've received from them today and the fourth such answer and hangs up call from the 213 area code in the last week. this is on my unlisted, Do No Call List Registered Cell Number and it's starting to bother me something awful they always call around the same time

7:50am, 2:58pm and 7:50pm CST.

@ Furious - Contact your State's attorney general and tell them of what's going on, They along with the FCC are cracking down on these groups. It's my next step if they don't stop calling

They've been calling me everyday, multiple times a day, for the past 2 weeks. Just tonight I've gotten 4 calls. It's annoying and needs to stop!

this company calls four to six times a day.. I hang up on them they call back right away.. I called the number back they answer is anyone there?

Block the number, 213-452-6533, with *78, on Qwest, and be done with them they/it has been calling me a half a dozen phone calls a day. No answer, just hanging up. Whadda nuissance.

This number has called me a few times a day, non-stop for about three weeks now.  They call early in the morning and late at night as well as through out the day.  The first few times I picked up and when I do pick it up they just hang up or there's no one there.  Its like harassment.  If it keeps going on I will have to contact someone who can help me stop this number from contacting me.  I don't know who can help though.  Maybe my lawyer.  Can you sue for somthing like this?

They have called every day, sometimes twice a day, for a week. Twice I tried to answer and there was no one there, so I finally called them back to find out why they were calling me. They told me that they were responding to my request for information about government grants! I never requested any information regarding grants! Anyway, I didn't even let the guy finish explaining anything and asked to be put on the do not call list. I hope this stops the calls. If they are calling you, call back and ask to be removed also. PEOPLE CONSISTLEY CALL 3-4 TIMES A DAY

First call that I received this morning from this # was a hang up call when I picked up.  I called the number back and no one answered.  Two minutes later I received yet another call and the lady said it's in reference to government grants and asked to talk to my son, who was sleeping (she called at 7:30 in the morning!). I also constantly get hang up calls from this # and it's very annoying!!! I also am on the Do Not Call List. What a joke!!

The "free money" scam has been around almost as long as the human species.
It has more variations than a bulldog has wrinkles but you can count on one thing: the government (any government) does not simply give money away to individuals. Anyone who tells you differently has larceny in his heart.
If you give him your bank account number, he will soon have your funds in his pocket.
It does no good to list all of the names used by these bunko artists because a.) they change all the time and b.) every single free-money government-grant offer is a scam. Period.

I called this dang number back, after numerous calls with hang ups, got some foreign guy (Big Surprise) on the line for Grants for Citizens.  I asked what country he was in.  After a thoughtful pause he says Canada.  First off I am not a citizen of Canada (I highly doubt he is either) 2nd If I want a Grant I will apply for one in the USA, with a person in the USA, not from BFE.   I told them to stop calling or I would file harassment charges.  Let's see if that works.  LOL
