Numerous calls.  No message.  Must be some sort of telemarketer.

Here's what we should all do. Answer the call and then get one of those alert whistles (any whistle really) and after they say hello (this one is a roto dial so it takes awhile) blow really really hard in their ear. Works like a CHARM.  Or press numbers on your keypad.

This number keeps calling and leaving no message. Sick and tired of telemarketers defying the do not call list. What part of "do not call" do they not understand?

The DNC list is not used by telescammers.  After all, they are criminals, and criminals do not obey the law, do they?

Want to stop repeated telescam phone calls?
    Try these alternatives:

    1.  Do not answer the phone if you see an unknown number on your Caller ID ... let it go to answering machine or voicemail.  Many telescammers hang up after 3 rings.

    2.  If you have a smartphone, get one of the inexpensive or free phone blocker apps at your online app store, and learn how to use it.

    3.  If your cel is not "smart", read the manual to learn how to set up a "group".  Assign the scammer's phone number to that group.  Also assign a "silent ring" to that group.  You will not hear future calls from that number.

    4.  Google NoMoRobo, and visit their site, to see if your phone system is compatible with that system.  (It may or may not be compatible).

    5.  Contact your phone service provider.  They may have a facility or method to allow you to block numbers.

    6.  If you buy things online, you might want to google "Amazon phone blocker" to see what devices or apps Amazon has to offer for landlines or smartphones. Similar devices are for sale on eBay and other online stores.

Keep calling, dropped calls. No way to find out who they are or to ask to be removed from their lists. If we call them back, we get a message saying that they called to share important information about current events, that if their call was inconvenient to us they sincerely apologize, then they hang up! No way to ask to be removed from their lists. Scum!

Get these calls 2-3 times a day during the week, at least once a day on weekends.  No message left, no person on line, just a disconnected call.

Marianne Williamson- running for 33rd District US Representative! author/Entrepreneur, shees.
Robodialed us a dozen times in that last few days. 4 times today. I finally talked to a person and she said she would take me off the call list.

4 calls this morning from this number - I finally said "Hello" and a a rep said she would take me off the list. I asked her to repeat my number and she repeated it wrong. I insisted she repeat my number to get it right and not call again. She said "Sorry!" and then hung up on me. I hate to be powerless and we all are with robocalls. Too bad that Verizon does not support the equipment of NoMoRobo or I would gladly subscribe! If it is indeed, Marianne Wiliamson then she is toast with  me and I will make her aware of it!

CID said Los Angeles C (213) 455-5934 it is a robocall/political call about San Francisco's Proposition G to extend the phone tax to wireless and cellphones for their school district. Why they are calling out of their voting district I don't know but from some of the comments here it is like a PAC that uses the same number for different political purposes.
